The Green Lantern Trailer

I'm not sure if this is against the rules, if it is then I'll gladly take down the link and edit this post.

Anyway, while browsing the internet earlier, I came across this. A fan-made trailer for an apparent Green Lantern movie. Now, there's no evidence that I know of to suggest that a Green Lantern film is being released or even being made at any point, this is completely fan-made, but I'll post the link and you can see for yourself:

Now, who else agrees with me, this is pretty damn good. Looks really professional to my eyes, if it wasn't for the fact that I recognised some of the films clips were taken from and that I knew from the title that it was fan-made, I would honestly believe this was true. Very goo work in my opinion. And who else agrees that Nathan Fillion would make a pretty awesome Green Lantern?

Yeah. This fan-trailer has been floating around for a while now. In fact, there was a pretty good one made for the Flash recently.


Anyway, Green Lantern is being made into a movie. A director is attached. A script has been penned, and rumors are afloat that Mr. Sam Worthington (who has made something a splash since Terminator Salvation) is in discussions to play the titular hero. Personally, I would like to see David Boreanaz in the role, but thats just my man crush talking.

Yeah, one of the better fan made trailers I've seen.... for the record, a Green Lantern film is in the works, to be released sometime in December of 2010....

But this actually does seem really kickass. Hey Hollywood! When you really DO start making this movie, HIRE THIS GUY. He knows what he's doing.

Yeah when I first saw that it just made me want a Green Lantern film even more. That guy is talented, he will probably get a job the way Monty Oum did after Haloid.

Personally I'd love to see Nathan Fillion take the role. He's a good actor, has pretty good credentails through Firefly/Serenity and more recently things like White Noise 2, he's a hit with the sort of crowd who would watch a DC Comics film (i.e. sci-fi geeks like myself who loved Firefly), and basically I feel it's a role he'd be well suited to based on his previous work.
