Hey you down there! I'm planning on making like a guidebook to life and how to deal with certain stuff, just for those interested. I will put 42 hints/rules/whatever plus information why and how to adhere to them. Ofcourse I need help with this, anyone interested?
(In no particular order so far)
1. Be an optimist, if you are happy others will be too!
Example: A day where nothing especially good or bad happens is not a 'meh' day, it's a good day because nothing bad happened!
2. It's okay to stereotype, as long as you are open to changes.
3. Embrace the future, don't get caught the past!
Even if something bad happened to you in the past, don't let it control your life. Get over it and try to learn from it
4. Be kind and helpful, really.
If you are nice and helpful to others they will like you and be helpful to you as well, that is, if they aren't assholes.
5. Get a hobby!
If you have a hobby you can connect to people with the same hobby and some hobbies can be pretty useful and/or cool (Like building stuff with wood)
6. It's okay to be (A)theist, just don't force it on people!
Some beliefs can be pretty good for you, they can help you recover and keep hope or generally make you feel better. Forcing it on people does NOT work though, you'll only annoy them and yourself..
7. Picking on people doesn't make you 'cool', it's okay to tease people as long as they know it's not meant hatefully though.
8. Eventhough something might 'only work in theory' doesn't mean it's a bad idea, being impulsive is what drove most important people in the history!
9. Be OPEN to different things and people!
I can't stress this enough, if you are open to improvements and changes you WILL become a better person.
10. Don't give up after one setback, if you really believe something you CAN accomplish it.. Somewhat :p
11. Think stuff through, don't ponder too long though, the opportunity might go away!
Saying something inconsiderate can be very hurtful, even if you didn't intend it to. If you wait too long however, you might ruin it just as much..
12. Going on the internet does not make you a geek or nerd, overdoing it does.
Self-explanatory :D

Help and feedback appreciated :D

7: if someone thinks he is more "mature" by being a douchebag, laugh in his face.

Sucks that rule 4 doesn't work, cause most people are indeed assholes... (barely ever does my kindness pay off! Curse you humans!)

This covers alot of life, good job!

But you might want a few "bigger picture" suggestions (how to run a country), just in case an escapist becomes a world leader.

You'll find that if you're kind and heart-to-heart to certain people (who are/will be friends) will make them like you, a lot. As far as willing people go, when you are nice on first impression you start way better!

It's open to ideas, so if you have good guidelines, feel free to share them!

No I'm implying that you should just go on and don't take too much offense from setbacks you will achieve your goal.. Kinda :p (eventhough it's a big cliche, it's one for a reason!)

You should NEVER drink soap.
Erm, I guess that's useful? Though not the kind of rules I meant :p

I don't think you quite understand just how important it is to NEVER DRINK SOAP.

Don't cook bacon with your shirt off.

Its just a bad idea.

As for putting it in rule form, think things through.

Erm.. Useful..?

And why is that? It's a set of guidelines rather than rules by the way :)

Oh, alright then its guidline form then :p. Think things through.

And never cook bacon with your shirt off because the grease likes to jump up and burn your bare chested flesh.

And it hurts.

Or were you asking why people should think things through?

Yeah I figured why you should never cook bacon with your shirt off. Also, I misunderstood your post, hence the maybe weird post of mine (I thought you were saying me putting it in rule form was a bad idea or something)

Either way, thinking stuff through: Added

1. Be a Realist. Don't always expect things to go your way.
fixed that for you.
No, shut up :p
If you have no ideals and just take the world like it is, it will never improve! Plus its bloody annoying to be pessimistic and be unenthousiastic about everything..
