The Guy in Super Meat Boy?!

So, while playing Super Meat Boy, I stumbled across a warp zone that brought me to a world to unlock...THE GUY!

Well, it's actually "The Kid" according to the game, but I think after the events in IWBTG, The Kid gets the title of "The Guy," but I digress

Back to the point, after dying a few hundred times, all that repressed anger from playing IWBTG came back to me, and I had to stop before I punched a hole in my TV.

So, your thoughts on his inclusion/IWBTG stories in general?

They have a lot of characters you can unlock. I saw you can get Captain Viridian from VVVVVV.

That's interesting, although I have nothing but mediocre memories for IWBTG, as the main point of getting the game was the difficulty, and I didn't find it all that difficult.

But trying to actually unlock The Guy...I don't like it. I wanna impale myself upon a rusty harpoon

It's appropriate that IWBTG is featured in Super Meat Boy, since Super Meat Boy is like it only with even worse level design, more pointless dick moves, and a price tag.

Played for 3+ hours and beat the first level but then, the game crashed. (1200-1800 deaths)

Tried again 2 weeks later, beat the first level on my third try and finished the rest in 45 minutes and 300 deaths.

I may have lost my sanity but it was worth it!
