According to old man Search Button, no such topic has been opned yet(At least in the last year and a half or so). So I will open it for you. Because it is interesting AND amusing. What an amazing deal.

Okay, so here is how it goes: the deamon(Or angel, or fairy, it really does not matter) comes to you in the middle of the night, and it offers you a gift(It seems you just won some sort of cosmic lottery): it offers to rewrite your life for you. It offers you to be a differant person, with a differant history, in a differant body. Whatever you choose. There are no tricks, no limits, no price to pay. The being offers you to become the ideal you, it offers you the chance to become everything you have ever wanted to be. It is a busy creature, thaugh, so you will have to make your wishes quickly. It can't just sit there until you decide.

So, to our main subject: Who is the perfect, ideal YOU? Tell me a little about the person you wish to be. Is the Ideal you increadibly rich? Is he famous or popular? Do you have many lovers? Where do you live? Are you talented, athletic, smart, charismatic, or all of them? Do you have any superpowers?

Who do you need to be to be truly happy?(Most people who tell you they want to be themselves simply lie. Face it.)

Post 'em if you got 'em.
Have fun.

The ideal me is the me that has a teaching job, has enough money for the teaching job to look hilariously ridiculous, has access to a teleportation machine, has the martial arts skills to defend the self and others, is slightly taller than I am right now, is someone who is marginally less prone to injury or disease, and is someone who can read with three times the speed and comprehension of the person who is the current 'me.'

Basically, I do not value fame, too much fortune, love, or charisma. I care about invincibility on a small scale, some height, some extra cash, and some extra intelligence. Nothing that would make me suspicious or egotistical. Also, the teaching job is just my ideal job.

A happier, more extroverted, more focused version of me would be nice. For the most part, I like who I am.

I can't speak for your situation at all because I don't know you, but I don't think you should ever be ashamed, or wish that you could change your race.

If there's something I'm not quite getting here, let me know, if otherwise, have faith in yourself.

I'd ask to be a girl, that's about all I'd change, I'd go ahead and try and do that whole surgery thing but that's thousands of dollars, years of therapy, and there's no guarantee that I'd come out right, and that's just not something I'd risk since I'm not self hating. While I'm not self hating I'd be happier as the other gender, think what you want I've already gotten heat for admitting I'm asexual.

Hmm. I'd like to be better at focusing on the task at hand, and to have gone to a better high school so that my first year of college didn't suck as much as it did, but other than that I'm pretty happy with the way I am.

I'm not embarrassed of my race, JC, despite all the annoying things that black people are capable of coming up with. So don't worry, that's not the issue. It's a matter of personal preference. Being black is the main reason I consider myself unattractive, plus it'd be a lot easier on me socially to "make the outside match the inside", as it were.

I'd go for...
Dark blue eyes, black hair, paler skin, awesome psychic powers, and a lean, thin bone structure instead of an average one.
Sure, it's not as durable, but I've always had the weirdest fascination with hands.

My personality is, of course, perfect.
That would explain your odd collection.
I'd like to be a little taller ~6'4" or so...be able to jump about 3-4 feet high...and have telepathy on the level of Xavier.

More fit, more competant with girls and one of the guys who actually gets to go on road trips and hang out with the others.
Also I'd be a sexual king.

I think primarily I'd ask for less difficulty in speaking. I would ask for better physical fitness and ability to learn foreign language, but I'm taking care of the first one already, and my main problem with the latter is speaking. Also, minor telekinesis and Shiki Ryougi's Mystic Eyes of Death Perception would be awesome.

Though the temptation would be great, I think I'd resist asking to be made a girl. I doubt there'd be an available escape clause if it didn't work out.

Longer, White Hair (Not Sepheroth Style, But Aiming on), More Physically Fit (Working on), Slightly Taller, Jump and move higher and faster, Know how to use Melee Weapons and Better with Speech in terms of Girls and Languages. Art wise, better at photography then I am now and Super-Powers, most likely Heightened Speed/Reflexes and Teleportation.

And more money then what I have now, because its not much.

Basically a more better version of my current self. oh and toss on some abs, being skinny doesn't cut it these days.

I'd make the angel/demon/whatever make me athletic and give me better eyesight.
Otherwise, I'm already as perfect as a mere human can be.

I would be the most intelligent, athletic and viral man in the universe! I would also have written a successful novel, designed a successful video game and be in a successful band.

I'd have it so I'd just be me now only smarter, in shape, slightly more perceptive (visually and sound based), immortal and my aging process would cease at 21.

Heh.

actually in truth, I DO simply want to be me..I love my job ( I own it and its creative based), my home, my children, my spouse, I'm very creative, and talented in a multitude of things, attended Uni when I was only 16, I'm active, and healthy, traveled the world...now approaching my 30's I can finally settle down into a peaceful rest..

I live in the moment, and am mindful of myself, and others, and what the world offers....Yes I'm Soto-zen Buddhist and HAVE learned to let go and live in the now, so those little imperfections that get many people down, I sorta trained myself to be able to see past, or look at differently and just accept the " thats life" rule of things and be perfectly content and happy with it.. ( so yes people ARE capable of being content without it being a lie)

so what changes I would like to make are simple really..small things.. the ability to interact with my family back in Scotland more perhaps a smaller cup size, but thats because of the physical effects on movement, and breathing etc, has nothing to do with look...

those are the changes and re writes.....even the worst moments in my life, like having a lover die on you etc.. those were all horrible, but at the same time they were learning experiences, and defined who I became today

Realistically: I would like to have a more attractive face, and probably more confidence to go up and talk to people-other than that I'm good; I think I'm awesome :D

Fantasy: To be able to sing + play guitar, to be an amazing songwriter/composer, to be an awesome artist, to have inifinite amounts of money (to be used to contribute to society/eliminating poverty/disease/hunger etc. for the historical fame), to be eternally youthful, to be unable to die, to have the power of life and death (and imprisonment), and youthfulness, to be able to play games in virtual reality (which I invented, of course, in a single day), and I think that's about it. Ooh, and the ability of morph into various animal forms.
