The indie game fund

Originally when I saw that Portnow is trying to set up an indie game charity called the indie fund I thought "That's kinda cool". Then I did a google search.

Turns out some other guys had the idea in 2010. What do you think?

I think the more the merrier.

I also think that the examples you gave, while similar, are still different from what the EC guys are doing, they'll be giving (what sounds like) free advice from James on the development process, helping the game devs to make the best game that they can, without actually telling them to do what the publisher (EC team) wants.

I like that there's not just one type of fair indie publishing fund out there.
