The inferiority of Animation as a medium or live action.

I agree, it's frustrates me to no end that people completely disregard an entire medium. For example, both of my roommates don't like anime because they say it sucks as a whole. No reasons given, just it sucks. I plan on at least showing them Mamoru Hosoda and Miyazaki movies to try to change their opinions and after that, if they don't like it, they will have given it a chance at least.
My stepdad (he's an ass btw) shoves it to the side because he thinks it's all porn and says an anime movie is, "not a real movie." The extent of what he's seen is a passing glance at an episode of DBZ. My brother and I tried to convince him otherwise but he wouldn't hear it. It's shit like that that makes me want to punch him and explain that he's not the all-knowing genius he thinks he is.
