I agree with this and also obviously Youtube comments, both for quite different reasons which give a nice contrast to this aspect of things.Internet Kraken said:

On topic, The Spearhead. 4chan's /b/, Youtube comments, and things like those are just casual stupidity, if not intelligent people intentionally acting dumb (I know a few /b/-tards myself, and they're hardly idiots). Any form of online game which requires "teamwork" and "coordination" to progress to a certain area. Most people never did understand that not everything can be accomplished alone. Red Dead Redemption is a class example as some (but not all) people will glady screw you over and race on ahead in a co-op game as they "don't need no noob" bullshit.
funnily enough it was a conversation I had with Postzit on this very site not more than a couple minutes ago.
it was mostly my fault for saying that MW2 and all games like it are killing gaming by shutting out creativity.
but he tried to defend his beloved copy paste FPS games by saying that "cloning games is the best way to make progress" and that "original IP's are bad for gaming, because they aren't guaranteed to sell like FPS games."
he wins the Internet stupid award from me,

I once got banned from a forum for saying, "Demons's Souls isn't a perfect game.", with no previous mod wrath. Turns out a particular mod is a fanboy. To this day, probably the stupidest thing I've ever seen or experienced on the internet.

Agreed. The worst part is that so many other stupid people give those comments a like, so you go in to watch the video and should you make the mistake of scrolling down to the comments, the first thing you see is "15 people missed the like button" with 57 thumbs up next to it.
