Just doing some boxing day shopping at the Best Buy website.
and as im checking out it tells me to wait 15-30 minutes in a line....
The screen looks like a loading screen and its just so annoying.
Please dont give me that "but sir, isnt this better then waiting 2 days for boxing day anyways?"
yes, it is.

I wanna know if you have ever waited in an online.. line?
im still waiting.. its been 20 ish minutes... almost done, its at 80%.

thank you and merry christmas.
cheers!

UPDATE: Ok so with the high traffic on the website the site keeps crashing, so this sends me to the "front of the line"
and everytime this happens it seems that when my cart updates something is sold out.
I have to exit and make the required changes (this doesnt change your spot in line though)
weeeelllll... untill the site crashes again.

I have given up and am going to wait out in the cold like a normal person on sunday morning,

Great, now I'll be up all night trying to imagine a line of people with laptops. I never get to sleep thanks to these abstract thoughts brought on by threads!

One website, I forgot which one, has non-members wait some time before the download started. I waited about 15 minutes once
Possibly rapidshare.

WRONG SIR! WRONG!

Boxing Day is an official bank holiday in the UK. It's called that after the "tradition [of] giving seasonal gifts to less wealthy people and social inferiors. Until their distribution, these gifts were stored in a 'Christmas box,' which was opened on December 26, when the contents were distributed. In the United Kingdom, this was later extended to various workpeople such as labourers and servants."

Ah, but to my knowledge, Black Friday has no history other than that of "Huge savings! People act like headless chickens!"

..."Also, some people die!"
