The fact that the one member of ZZ Top who doesn't have a beard has the last name "Beard".

That is actually just a coincidence. For it to be ironic there has to be intent to which the outcome is contrary. If he changed his last name to Beard because he had an awesome beard, and then something happened and he could no longer grow facial hair, it would be ironic.

No, it's irony because the animal that killed him is actually peaceful. It's only dangerous in the same way that chopsticks are dangerous, you can accidentally poke your own eye out with them.

The best Ironic thing ive ever heard is the fact that the song, "Ironic" contains no real examples Of irony. Then, everyone accuses Alanis of not knowing what Irony is, and yet they also say that the only ironic thing about that song is the fact that there's no Irony. And the third level of Irony is that people accusing Alanis of not knowing what Irony is never seem to get the joke. Lastly is the irony that a song that expressedly is devoid of irony brings about the most numerous layers of Irony out of anything I have ever seen.
