I've recently been playing Incoming for the first time since I was a child and have realised a few things.
1. Nostalgia is surprisingly powerful or modern games are all terrible.
2. I must've been a world-class gamer as a kid just to get out of the desert.
3. Joysticks are the most fun controller ever.
I have never used a motion sensor controller and not thought about how much I wish this game didn't need one (Flower being the exception) and even light guns and steering wheels don't seem to have the same effect.
I even bought Combat Flight Simulator 3 just to make sure it wasn't all a nostalgic illusion.
Do people agree with me about joysticks, are they the most immersive controller invented or do I harbour a repressed love for phallic objects?
