The start of the last Ashes test, England up 3-0, will they make it a record 4-0. Will Australia make a fight back. Personally I have tickets for day 2, I want to watch England tramp the dirt down on the bloated corpse of Australian cricket, but hey thats just me. I lived through those long dark 16 years of defeat and it is so nice to have revenge.

Australia

Chris Rogers, David Warner, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke (capt), Steven Smith, Brad Haddin (wk), James Faulkner, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc, Ryan Harris, Nathan Lyon.

England

Cook, Root, Trott, Pietersen, Bell, Woakes, Prior, Broad, Swann, Kerrigan, Anderson

Australia are still trying find the best line up from their squad but injuries have prevented the best bowling attack being available. If Pattinson was fit at the same time as Harris, I think the series would have been much closer.

A big surprise from England, two spinners and five bowlers total. Looks like they are trying to blood new players in a dead rubber and experiment with a different balance.

I was just surprised Australia brought in Faulkner for Khawaja; I just don't understand why we dropped a batsman for an allrounder when our batting has been the big problem. Our bowling hasn't been terrible so I would have though another batsman would have been brought in but oh well.

Didn't get to watch much of the first day but wow, did not expect Watson to score 176.
