Hmm...
Chess or Go for standard games.
For stuff that is more cerebral, Risus by a LONG shot. Easy, technically requires no tools or parts at but basic dice (which can be emulated / removed) and the rules can be memorized by a child in under an hour. Plus, easily expandable.

I was thinking that go might work, but I don't know, cause the pieces seem like a ***** to get that round.AvsJoe said:

You don't really need round pieces. You just need a bunch of similarly sized pieces in two colours.mrpenguinismyhomeboy said:
