Halo: The Fall of Reach

I'm not a particular Halo Fan, but it's pretty awesome, learning about "John" aka "Master Chief", and hearing about his training, and the other Spartans. And eventually, in the end, they find the first Halo. It's the precise sequel to the first Halo game :)

Nation by Tery Pratchett
Really need to get my hands on that one.

OT:
Last book I read was: Mathias Thulman - Witchhunter
And btw, if anyone knows if there are more books about him, please give me a shout.
(Yes, I did google it. Information on the subjects are sketchy.)

Last one I finished was The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, for the umpteenth time. I just read it so I could use it as my book report book for school, since it's short and easy to read. I like reading long, challenging books, but doing book reports on them is a *****. :|

The book I'm reading right now is Lies My Teacher Told Me. It's excellent, and give some nice historical background.

The sigh, is it because you cannot wait for it to be over, or that you do not want it to be over?

Just read "World Without End" by Ken Follett. Not as good as "Pillars of the Earth" or not as good as I remember it to be, but still a great novel.

Currently I'm reading "OIL!" by Upton Sinclair. It's the book that "There Will Be Blood" was based on. Started out slowly, but it's really grabbing my interest now, about half way through it.

Next up is "Clear and Present Danger" by Tom Clancy. I like to alternate literature with popcorn fiction.

I see we have a couple of Terry Pratchett fans here. Dig it. I myself have recently finished Hogfather and I'm halfway through Jingo.

Also, I'm re-reading the Hitchhiker's Guide "trilogy." Read it a few years back, but all I remember after the first story arc is that I hated the ending of Mostly Harmless.

The last book I read was "Wicked" but I didn't finish it so the last book I finished was "If Chins Could Kill"...I think. No, wait. It was the fourth Dexter book.

Dare I say it?

Alright, Twlight. A few of my female friends forced me to read it.

Still, the last one I enjoyed was The Subtle Knife. That was very much funsies to read.

The time machine by H.G Wells. I loved both the films so I thought 'Hey why not" and it was a good read.

Currently?
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for an English essay.
I'm worried that it will kill it for me.

The last one I finished for fun?
The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
It was quite good.
Didn't convert me, but it was interesting.

I just finished "The Truth" by Terry Pratchett, which is a hilarious Discworld book about the world's first newspaper. What sold me on that one was the liner notes which mentioned a "Vampire with a suicidal fascination for flash photography." I am now a total Pratchett fan.

I also just finished a book called "Don't Tell Mom I Work On the Rigs, She Thinks I'm A Piano Player in A Whorehouse" by Paul Carter, which is a true (And hilarious) account of his time spent working on drilling rigs around the world.

I spent a season on the rigs in Northern Canada and from what I experienced, I believe every word of his stories, from midget hookers to exploding monkeys and dysentary at 30,000 feet...

Right now however, I'm reading "Neitzche for Beginners" by Marc Sautet and "God is Not Great" by Christopher Hitchens, both of which are expanding my brain and reinforcing my beliefs on religion.

If you haven't noticed, I like to read more than one book at a time. I blame the ADD...
