The Last Guardian Canceled?

So I just got a call from Gamestop saying that The Last Guardian was canceled. Would anyone know if this is true? I can't find anything about it online, and it seems weird that Gamestop would be the first to tell people. I am really sad if this is true.

I guess for discussion value: were you looking forward to The Last Guardian? If it is true that is canceled, how do you feel? And what is your favorite Team Ico game? Mine would be Shadow of the Colossus, as I haven't played much of Ico.

I did a Google search and found that other people are getting the same message, but only from Gamestop. One of the producers for the game did leave Sony (and I think quit working on the game).

They might just be canceling pre-orders because the game still has no set release date.

I dunno, the Wikipedia page for the game doesn't say anything. I wonder why they'd just up and quit, they previously had a release date set in April, meaning they must have had a substantial amount of work done at some point.

I am looking forward to The Last Guardian. My favorite Team Ico game and game in general being Shadow of the Colossus.

I would be pretty sad if I heard that The Last Guardian was cancelled. Team Ico makes great games and it would be a shame if their latest game didn't make it past the chopping block.
