For me, It was part of 'the walking dead' game which I hadn't played up to yet.. I wont say which part.

For the comments: Unless you can put it across in a very very subtle way.. I'd just leave the title of the game (or movie/tvseries/book) it was

Final Fantasy VII. There were pictures of it in the official Bradygames strategy guide.

I doubt anyone who has any interest in playing it would still not have played it, but I'll remain vague anyway since everyone knows what I'm talking about.

Somebody had hidden a spoiler titled 'TWD', and I read it thinking it was for a game/movie/book I'd never heard of, thus one I probably wasn't ever going to play/watch/read. Then I realised it was for the Walking Dead games and then I had a little sulk.

The tragic ending of Star Trek: Nemesis was spoiled for me.

Basically I've learned I need to stay off the internet and away from people in general if I'm really excited about something.

A little while back Critical Miss did a satire of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Despite the fact that it was a satire of the main character and wasn't discussing the story in any way, people still decided to post spoilers of the ending within the first few comments.

Batman Arkham City, either way the ending was moronic so it didn't really bother me much. And no I'm not mad about what happened, I'm mad at HOW it happened and was carried out.

Err that is quite a while (I don't exactly talked to my mates regulat nor do they spoil me about the film or series). Last one I can think of was several years ago back in high school when one of my mate blunt out the ending to Sin City (the cinema order now in order of the three shorts).

I turned my TV on when I got home from work once and the end of Reservoir Dogs was playing. Did not change the channel in time...so I spoiled that for my self. Was actually pretty pissed.

I actually can't really think of a time when someone spoiled something without me specifically asking them to.

Death note. Somebody told me about something happening to a character that I was growing attached to. Knowing what would happen, I just didn't have the stomach to keep on watching it

Well I just slightly spoiled some of the events of MGS: Peace Walker while reading some stuff about Ground Zeroes. I'm okay with it though because I don't know when I'll actually end up playing Peace Walker and I'd like to know what the hell is going on moving into Ground Zeroes.

Mass effect 3. Barely had it, hadn't got round to playing it much, when there was a huge outcry abourt how the ending sucks. Well, not much point continuing now, is there?

Every single movie trailer contains too many spoilers for me. I tend to avoid them, unfortunately The Dark Knight Rises was waaay too popular to succesfully achieve that. =/ (Ended up seeing too much whilst riding on the subway and staring blankly at a screen, not realising it was -that- trailer.)
