Oh no, Supply Raid sounds terrible. Shared pool of 20 lives? A good deal of the time, you're going to have one selfish, incompetent bastard who charges in guns blazing and loses half of those before you can blink.kailus13 said:Supply Raid sounds kind of interesting, but Survivor just sounds like an extremely slow version of Last Man Standing.
Naughty Dog proved they can't make a good multiplayer with both Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3. The competitive multiplayer sucks because Naughty Dog isn't good at making a 3rd-person shooter, the controls aren't nearly good enough to work in a competitive environment. The co-op was way better in Uncharted 2.Casual Shinji said:Naughty Dog proved it can do a good multiplayer with Uncharted 3, but why the hell does a game about a man and a young girl surviving in a post-apocalyptic setting need a damn multiplayer? According to him, this isn't tacked on. It's been the plan from the start. Single and multiplayer have had had different teams from the start. They're doing it because they like it and they want to.
People react to things much too hastily, sometimes.
I seriously had no problem with it whatsoever. The controls were smoothened out in multiplayer and I had a blast run and gunning people and face punching 'm.Phoenixmgs said:Naughty Dog proved they can't make a good multiplayer with both Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3. I'm a hardcore TPS player and Uncharted's controls are just so bad. Firstly, circle for both roll and cover has never worked, I don't understand why they haven't fixed that (even Susan complains about how bad it is in her review on here). Second, the shoulder swap is horribly implemented. The game defaults you to aiming over your right shoulder every time you L1 aim so a person going to their right has an unfair advantage to an enemy player that is going to their left. Third, the camera sensitivity can't be adjusted in any of the Uncharted games, that is just a HUGE NO-NO for any shooter, especially for a TPS. In a TPS, you aim with the free look camera and Uncharted's camera is so damn sluggish; if someone is shooting me from the back, I can't turn the camera nearly fast enough. Lastly, Naughty Dog ends up nerfing anything that lets you kill at range. In Uncharted 2, they nerfed the Down the Irons booster so that the booster was useless. Someone actually did a test and found that L1 aiming was less accurate than blindfiring, why would you make aiming less accurate than not aiming. Then, in Uncharted 3 that I just tried again recently because it went free to play (and I sold my game a year ago), Naughty Dog nerfed both guns (the G-MAL and the FAL) that let you kill at range. It's like Naughty Dog doesn't want aiming skill to factor into the multiplayer, they want everyone blindfiring and using power weapons to kill. Have you ever played against the top Uncharted 2 players? All they do is constantly bunny hop. You can overlook some of that stuff for single player and co-op, but in competitive multiplayer, it makes the game unplayable.Casual Shinji said:I seriously had no problem with it whatsoever. Considering the SP is 17+ hours based on various reviews. You could hardly argue that it's not campaign driven.Xcell935 said:Who knows it may end up being really good multiplayer. Judging by the trailer it looks as though there will be a reliance on taking thinks slow, making life and death decisions, and overall a new kind of intense competitive multiplayer....... or it could just be more run and gun "gotta get a good K/D!" waste of game funding nonsense. If that happens i'll strictly stick to playing the already superior looking single player. And to think...
if they dropped multiplayer and put all their work into a campaign driven game... that would be golden.
Oh wait... "but the CHART says!" mentality is still being passed around this industry. Great.
Thats good to hear, also no mention of the multiplayer in most reviews i've seen so far...Korten12 said:Considering the SP is 17+ hours based on various reviews. As far as I saw in reviews, Multiplayer isn't up yet. Since there is still an entire week before release.Xcell935 said:Thats good to hear, also no mention of the multiplayer in most reviews i've seen so far...Korten12 said:Considering the SP is 17+ hours based on various reviews.
