The last time a game made you say "wow"

Spec Ops: The Line. The first game to ever make me actually drop my jaws in shock and go "wow..."

Seconded - even if i had spoiled myself a bit by reading some forum posts it was just "Wow". After finishing it i loaded the last save again and repeated it until i got all the endings. The whole game was a hell of a ride and finally there is a shooter deserving the term mature for it`s story not only the violence which is also just "wow" to me.

Thirded. Just seeing the aftermath of that scene showing you what you did. My jaw dropped. That is so under appreciated.

Fourth...ed..ded..ded

Was a great game for breaking the complacency of "Shoot this guy hes bad, your the super guy whos always right and is infallible, also is totally likeable." that games these days spew. Its nice to see a story not a Chuck Norris's little brother the game. Could really use more titles like Spec ops: The line.

Assuming you mean "Wow" in a positive sense. It has been a long time, over a decade. As such, I can't even recall the last time.

Fable 3, I got it the other day in the steam sale and I said "Wow, what the hell were these people thinking? I can't even say the game is a lazy cash grab because a straight copy of Fable 2 would have been better, they must have worked REALLY HARD to make this game so bad"
