Grimm's emerald eye's began to open, yet he could see nothing but a pitch black embrace.

Ha, I must have passed out. I wonder where they left me?

As Grimm began to slowly rise his head it collided with some foreign object making a sound akin to a tribal drum.

ouch! Where did they leave me!?

After fumbling in the darkness for a good two minutes Grimm managed to grasp a crudely crafted door knob. he turned it while leaning towards the door it was bound to open but was shocked when the platform he lay upon collapsed underneath him.

The door swung open and Grimm tumbled out into what appeared to be a living room. People were around him, staring at what must have looked like an utter farce.

"Uhm, hello?" Grimm greeted in a puzzled tone.

He turned to view the room that Zero had left him in, A wide closet with a wooden platform.

Well, it was dark in there

Fuam sat down next to the newest intruder to Zero's home and tilted the bag of dried meat towards the strange man as he briefly contemplated dumping a bucket of water over his head. However for now he simply sat there without saying a word. He stared at the door, mostly, but every now and then he would turn his gaze briefly to lorronix

Eve looks at Strife, raising an eyebrow to the sound of his question.
"How did YOU get here, pretty boy?' Eve addresses Strife. She moves her scarred hand over his shoulder, covered in some foreign object. "I have no home" Eve says softly.

"I have no place to return to. I follow the wind in its trails" Eve says as she moves her left hand through the air in a wave like movement.

I should leave before I pass out, so you should probably just say I've lost consciousnesses from the loss of blood, carry me to the house and continue with someone else.

"My name is Variava, I am a simple archer, no match for any of you powerful people. I just enjoy a good joke." He said, with a smile on his face to the new coming man. He patted his shoulder and quickly said." so what is it that you do sorcerer? Shoot fireballs? Conjure elements?"

The figure was certainly aware as one of the people sat down next to him. Just as he was wondering what would happen though the person offered something that smelled very much like food.

The figure's mouth began to salivate even more before he eventually took the offered meat and began to wolf it down quite quickly.

He was glad, here at last was a person who knew about the important things in life.

The Enemy walked in just in time to see Aranea do his devil thing.

"Uh... am I interrupting anything?" she asked, nervously backing off.

Grimm lifted himself from the light, wooden floor. once more in a standing position he cast his gaze to the shadow at his feet.

[i/] Still a bit small ... I'll probably be fine. [/i]

Grimm smiled and turned his attention scaled man who Grimm had prevented from slaughtering the not-so-helpless villages.

"You're ok, fantastic!" Grimm announced as he walked over to greet the man but his stride was cut short once he remembered the moments just before the mob.

"Where is the man with the golden hair?" Grimm questioned to no one in particular.

Suddenly, Grimm's knees buckled and he fell to the ground, the black call of unconsciousness was upon him again.

Damn! Woke up, too early.

Variava's mouth opened it horror, only to turn into a laugh as the last words came out of his mouth. "That is an interesting power! I quite enjoyed it, I really did." He said with a smile as he reached out to touch the disfigured face."Are you actually changed or is this what i am seeing?" He said, curious as ever.

The Enemy struggled against the the snakes. She started ripping at them with her metal arm. "Let me go! I am going to rip your head off!" she shouted, ripping and tearing. Once she had pulled herself free, she ran at Aranea, aiming a punch at his chest.

As The Enemy spoke Aranea turned his head. His hairs, now more appearing like black serpents than anything else, lashed out towards her, attempting to wrap and tangle The Enemy.

Aranea turned back. Before Variava he had returned to normal, although his hair was still in it's freakish form. "I'm able to create sensual illusion of any kind. I'm able to manipulate sight, hearing and even stench using my own sense and mind." he said "This made me both respected and feared in my homeland. Although mostly feared."

okay...I'm sorry but it's sensory, not sensual. Sensual means something completely different

"Well that was...interesting." Fuam said, having witnessed The Enemy reacting to something that Fuam couldn't see himself and then promptly punch Aranea in the stomach.

"Someone want to clue me in, here?"

easy to forget there is a dragon in the room Fuam? I think I might be able to talk to him since we both have these scales. Worth a shot right? Matridom broadcasted as she was getting up. She approached the man sitting in the room. can you understand me?

The unnamed sat and watched as two of the people began to fight; one with her hair, the other with fists. Still, as long as neither attacked him he didn't care much and continued to watch.

However, he couldn't watch for long as his attention was drawn by something new. Another figure approached from across the crowded room, but this one didn't even seem human. It's form was covered in scales, not unlike the ones that the figure hated so, and had wide wings.

The unnamed didn't even realize that he was beginning to clench his left hand into a tight fist. His agitation and fear began to rise at the sight of something that seemed to represent everything that he hated about his curse.

Perhaps this is the same curse? He thought. Perhaps with time that will be my fate as well? To have this monstrosity cover my entire being as well? A true warrior lost to a monstrous form like that?

Then something else happened. The figure suddenly felt words entering his mind without using his ears. The words themselves were still the incomprehensible southern tongue, a weak language for a weak people. But there was no escaping or ignoring there presence.

The northerner's fear and anger suddenly skyrocketed. Of all the dark magics that the old crones back home told stories of, the ones that affected the mind were the worst; capable of ripping away or corrupting a man's soul even.

No! Out corrupting demon! I won't let you bring this curse upon me anymore! Never! Out! Out! Out!

"Null!" He screamed as he shot to his feet. The word meant 'out' in his own language, not that he expected anyone here to know that. He gave a bestial scream as he lashed out with his left arm in a brutal hook towards the mental interloper.

Matridom tried to move away from the hook but couldn't in time. It caught the tip of her snout and sent her flying through the room, she covered herself with her wings before she went through the wall. After recovering from the blast she got up and sent a ice blast at his feet freezing him in place. lets try this again.. Can you understand me? but this time she sent it through feelings and emotion rather than words, hoping it's head would decipher it in whatever it used to communicate.

A rock flew through the air and struck Eve in the forehead, knocking her unconscious as a cheer rung out through the darkened village. Strife armored himself up almost immediately, slamming his clawed hands into the ground and pulling out a large chunk of dirt and rock. He grinned a bestial grin as he threw the massive chunk through the nearest window he could, hearing the shattering of wood and stone from inside. He then proceeded to pick up Eve and put her over one of his shoulders.

"How dare you attack one of us you filthy humans! You think you can attack one of us and get away unscathed? Mark my words, I will be back, and you will pay dearly for what you have done." Strife called out, looking into the shadows of the buildings.

He began to walk away, making sure that Eve was safe from any further harm.

Blink was violently awoken from a giant stone destroying part of his house. He looked out the hole towards where strife was walking away. "Do you mind?" He yelled after him as he stepped out of the giant hole in his recently acquired[sup]1[/sup] house.

[sup]1[/sup] He killed the owners of it and took the rights to it.

"Not really, unless your human... which in that case..." Strife said, turning to look at whoever had come out of the house which Strife had just destroyed. He grinned when he saw that it was only Blink, nodding his head but turning around to walk back to Zero's house.

"Sorry about that Blink, I was just taking out my anger on these pathetic humans in this town."

 

[Moderationintime]

"Where has everyone gone?" Blink asked as he stepped out of a portal a few feet behind Strife. "Everyone seemed to be herded by one person" He said bitterly.

Blink closed the portal behind him angrily, it closed shut with a violent and loud slurping sound.

"They were herded to Zero's house. I was going to have a drink with Eve here, but the humans caught her off guard and now I'm taking her back to Zero's before I wreak havoc on this town." Strife laughed, shrugging his shoulder to put emphasis on the unconscious girl there, "would you care to join me when I come back? I have a feeling Zero wouldn't approve but what he doesn't know won't hurt him."

"Is Zero your leader now?" Blink said, raising an eyebrow. "I would love to wreak havoc on the town but I feel that with enough power we can make these peasants respect the powers of the Gods" He said with a grin starting to form on his face. "Peasants are just the beginning we could work our way up and have countries at our knees, I don't think we have these powers to just wander around!"
