Pfft, I remember the Bionicle movie.

Morgan Freeman is playing a Lego wizard- that's the best thing ever. I have no idea how this looks simultaneously awesome and terrible at the same time.

We should all start naming off what series of Lego we want to see in this, or get cameos of. While I enjoy the Batman, Superman (prolly star wars)...alla all the big name titles. As a traditional LEGO fan I want to see some of the vintage sets...somewhere.

If I see an OCTANE plug in there somehow, I will die happy.

I still have a 1980-something space guy. I think he was red though.

This movie is pretty much every childs dream come true. And most adults dream come true for that matter. Including mine.

That's not 1980s-some space guy - that's early 90s space guy :p (I should know, I played with minifigs just like that when I was a kid)

Also: People - we finally have a movie with DC heroes in it that isn't bleak and grimdark or utterly sucktastic! W00t!

1980s-some space guy is my hero. I remember that guy from my childhood, this better be the best film humanity's ever made or else.

I remember having lego men that looked exactly like 1980s-something-space-guy, right down to the cracks and worn paint.

If the Rock Raiders do not show up in this, my inner child will throw itself out of a window.

I LOVED the Rock Raiders as a child, had a couple of the kits, and the Rock Monster thing NEEDS to be in this movie.

This really does look like something amazing though.

Good! Now I have something to overwrite all memories of Clutch Powers.

Man, I'm excited for this movie.

Dat stop motion? I'm generally surprised it's not entirely CGI. Christ, I haven't seen anything stop motion (That was good) since Wallace & Gromit. And not that film that came out a couple of years ago.

The LEGO Movie is CGI designed to look like stop motion.

I was right, if you make something with legos you will get a spot on the Escapist News. Still not seeing the movie.
