Recently, I have made a list of things I would like to do before I die. The list has the following categories along with an example or two:

1. Things I Want to Do (Build my own house; Walk the Appalachian Trial)
2. Books to Read (1984; Moby Dick)
3. Video Games to Play (Final Fantasy VII; Silent Hill 2) [You may include DLC]
4. Comic Books/Graphic Novels to read (Watchmen; Batman: Year One)
5. Albums/Songs/Artists to Listen to (Abbey Road; Are You Experienced?)
6. Movies to Watch (Psycho; Fistful of Dollars)
7. TV Series to Watch (Lost; 24)

Now, I signed up to the Escapist because I wanted your help with the list. You can suggest anything you want for any of the categories. The only restrictions are that I am fine with making suggestions of things you like, but I would rather it be something I have heard, that is well-known, or that is critically acclaimed. I would not like to see a bunch of fantasy novels that I've never heard of before. Also, no anime. Sorry, that's just not something I'm into.

Thanks guys. Any help you can give will be appreciated!

1. Save a life.
2. I can recommend books (Night Angel Trilogy, if you like fantasy and dark humor), but I don't know any I'm looking forward to. Maybe the last Wheel of Time.
3. Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.
4. I'm a big fan of the continuity stuff, so the only thin I can recommend outside of that is X23, both Innocence Lost and Target X. Big fan o' those.
5. Can't help you. Youtube has answered all my music problems.
6. The Avengers movie. The Runaways movie.
7. Me personally is Firefly, but I recommend Spectacular Spider-man, the recent cartoon that was canceled after two seasons...

A lot of that is kind of depending on you living for a few more years. Here's hoping we can tough it out.

Something I want to do: I want to go into an expensive, high-class resturant right when it opens, with a copy of War and Peace(or some other big classic), sit at a table, and start reading. Everytime a waiter bothers me I will just order like a coke or something, and just power through the whole book.

i've made one of these before, though out of spite i still like it, i think it would be fun.
1. piss someone off so that they chase me/you and hide behind a newspaper, climb a mountain, vist iqualuit (probabally spelt that wrong, capital city of Nunavut), skydive, and basically most of the things that you see on television that you think would never work. (note that i am assuming that you don't care about that consequences-see first).

that's all i've got for you for now, except for find bigfoot but that may take a while.

i personally think that if you are having trouble thinking of things than you may be under a rock, there are alot of things to do in the world but you'll find most of them as you go, if you are committed.

I have a 1 full page Word Document listing the various Games I to play, manga/books to read, and movies/anime/tv series to watch.

If I could only stop playing Team Fortress 2, get a job, and by extension, money to buy games and books with, I might actually get around to some of it.

I'd copypaste it, but I have more TF2 to play.

You are not into anime, which is fine but, I think it would be a good experience to find one that you can enjoy. Anime is a medium after all. There may be an over-abundance of androgynous teenagers, lamenting because of their Godly powers or, teenage girls doing stupid things but, there are some gems hidden among the rocks. I suggest you watch My Neighbor Totoro or, Ponyo. The later is a non-Pixar Disney film, the former is critically acclaimed. Both are family films.

As far as we know, life only happens once. Best to experience as much as you can even if the experience is negative. I would also like to express that you try some exotic food. Seaweed, bison meat, eel. All are surprisingly good is you can get over the origin of the food. Anyway, on topic:

Do: Go on a trip searching for an endangered species/ rare animal. Take photos

Read: Discworld series (Hogfather, Color of Magic, Soul Music, Guards! Guards!, Equal Rites, etc...)

Play: Obscure, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

Comics/Graphic Novels to read: Jedi vs. Sith, Marvel Civil War, Marvel Zombies #1

Album/Song/Artist: Dio-era Black Sabbath (Heaven and Hell)

Movies: 11:14, Ichi the Killer, Splice, Office Space, Thank you for Smoking

TV series: King of the Hill, Malcom in the Middle, Deadliest Warrior

1. Play in an orchestra performing Concierto de Aranjuez
2. I don't know much about books but I did enjoy Metro 2033
3. Deus Ex it's a marvel i game design and ambition, just use the HDTP mod...
4. Once again I don't know much about comics
5. Radioheads Ok, Computer.
6. American Psycho it's a cult classic.
7. Serial Experiments Lain. I know it's anime but it's utterly unique in any sense of the word and other than being animated and Japanese shares nothing in common with the established anime lore. I even reviewed [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.214642-Sacmans-Sac-tastic-Anime-Review-Serial-Experiments-Lain#7250426] it.

No, the thing is that I already have a plan of what I want to do. Get a job and the like. But, I want to experience all that our culture has to offer. I want to know about all the movies and books people reference. Let me give you an example: the Catcher in the Rye is a book that most people feel is a book that must be read by everyone. It's a literary classic that must be enjoyed. I want to read those kinds of books, and watch those kinds of movies. I'm not going to devote my life to doing just that. That would be ridiculous and sad. Yet, as I go through my life (going to college, getting a job), these are the things that I want to enjoy in my free time. Plus, the "things I want to do" section is open for suggestions on marathons and going to certain countries. Sorry if there was some confusion.

#2 is much more impressive if you stay up all night watching it rather than during the day. It's so difficult, I recommend popcorn.
