I drop a multipurpose grenade launcher and a crate of ammunition for it. It's revolving chamber has place for six shots, and ammo is of great variety: fragmentation, incendiary, and teargas grenades, buckshot cartriges, rubber bullets, nets, mini-missles, and so on. The launcher itself is colored matte green. It has no stock, but there is a front handle on the barrel.

This is what the Demoman should be. Let's forget for a minute that, in the right hands, he's a force-a-nature. But he has no variety. No matter what you do, you're always limited to two types of grenades, or one if you have the shield. Every Demoman will always fire the same damn grenades. Every grenade has the same damn effect. More variety would make the Demoman class much more interesting; now, he's just a black guy with a sword who fires four rounds from a six round grenade launcher.

A supportive comment. Seriously, WTF is with the sword and shield anyway? Yes, i get it, he's Scottish and it's a Highlander reference. But he's also black, hard-drinking, and an explosives expert! Turning him into ersatz 10th class for melee didn't make any sense, and it's not even all that fun in gameplay perspective! The sword itself would have been pretty okay, actually - but that STUPID shield makes no sense whatsoever, and it's not even that big! I'd rather give Demoman some kind of splitting dynamite bundle or a "Bowling Bomb" if i was in charge of this update.
Hey, a Bowling Bomb! A hybrid of classic cartoon bomb and a bowling ball is actually pretty intresting idea!

@Kollega: Not to mention the Demoman's complete unbalanced-ness when it comes to melee-only gameplay. I mean, he gets stronger as he keeps killing your ass? AND he has the best melee attack range in the game (bar Scout...)? Especially if you're (like me) a noob at the game AND manage to get into a 1-on-1 melee combat against a Demo who kills you repeatedly, and then you're only hope is to either stun him, backstab him, or magically get better at the damn melee combat. GAH.
Then again, my skills at TF2 don't seem to be getting much better the more I play, so it could just be me...
Gah. I wish I knew how to code. Then I'd create a class with grenades that actually do more things than just explode...and I refuse to give them to the damn Demoman.
