The LOVE Thread

My life is devoid of love (except for normal family love), and it will remain so for quite some time. I do love animals though, I care more for the random dog in the streets than I do for my neighbour.

I've been in love with a girl for about 3 months now, yet her parents are crazy and make her work 7 days a week 12 hours a day so I don't get much time to go out with her . I had to start working with her in order to get time with her at all. Actually since her parents will be in France until mid september so I'm planning on going out with her today.

This, I suppose. I have had some really good friends over the years but they've all recently turned into assholes, or I've just stopped being friends with them. I mean, I do have a couple good friends now (including one that has an Escapist account and might see this post), but it's not like we have a history together. And I do have a girl I like and all that, but being a high school student stuff like that can be difficult. That last sentence might actually confuse my real friend quite a bit.

It's obvious to me you have just recently gotten lucky, so good for you! However, I wouldn't have recommended making a thread saying how awesome it is, people can be spiteful...

But it is a great feeling. And I love my girlfriend dearly

It's hard to find a boyfriend in Middle School, especially in a place that's almost as south of Texas as you can get. Doesn't help that I'm gay, and having a nasty case of the good ol' unrequited love.

Seriously, did anyone hear of the GOP, the political (and dangerously right-wing Republican) platform that supports an anti-sodomy law? Makes me sick.

I'm don't harbour any negative feelings towards him, aside from maybe a little jealousy. No he's happy and that's great.

It's no big deal. It's just mundane physical attraction combined with the fact that you "click" emotionally and ideologically with another human being.

It's not more to it than that. You can feasibly experience the same thing by eating large amounts of chocolate.

Recently has been the first time that it's worked both ways, and I'm the luckiest bugger I know right now, she's great and in fact she was with me in the last 3 hours, I'm suddenly blissfully happy now, thanx OP, and to all who haven't been lucky enough to have a good relationship, don't worry, I'm the person in my class of thirty-six who has stayed single for the second longest, so don't worry. I absolutely love my mate Anastacia. This is probably going to sound weird, but her family suck (it's okay; she says so herself), so i always try to be there for her in a way that her mum should do, but sadly doesn't. Cliche, i know, but it's almost like we're sisters instead of friends, and i'm pretty sure that's a relationship that means more to me than romance!
