I am taking a Administration of Justice class down at my local college, and i noticed while reading the chapter about prison life is that a man who is in prison and needs a heart transplant is on the donor list. Now this book is only a year old so it's pretty relevant.

Now I'm wondering on anyone else opinion on this. Why should (or not) be on the donor list

I guess because he's getting out eventually.

If he's on death row or has a life sentence, then that could change things...

Depends on what crime he committed. If he had committed robbery or something then...whatever...but if he intentionally murdered or raped someone then...well, that's karma.

I don't think that a criminal should be denied life. Every one's committed a crime, just because this one got caught doesn't mean he's worse. However, even with that, I would find it very hard not to be hypocritical if I found out it was a paedophile or rapist... Very interesting subject, I might bring it up in Law or Philosophy tomorrow.

I'm not sure the crime he committed, it doesn't say. I think the guy is like (when it was wrote) 4,500th in line (so he's pretty SoL) but the wife of the man after him said "why deny someone the right to live regardless of what they said."
I was just curious about what other people said
