The Vehicon from Transformers Prime come to my mind http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Vehicon_%28Prime%29 althought I see them more as cannon fodder.

Also there are these lots-
Hydra agents http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydra_%28comics%29 Hand ninjas http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hand_%28comics%29 and AIM agents http://marvel.wikia.com/Advanced_Idea_Mechanics_%28Earth-616%29 all from Marvel universe.

Ninja from League of Assassin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_of_Assassins and the Talons from Court of Owls http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Court_of_Owls from DC comics

Monarch Henchmen http://venturebrothers.wikia.com/wiki/Monarch_henchmen from the Venture Bros

Servbot from Mega Man http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Servbot
I will let the Assassins types out from the list for now, because I think they are supposed they are bad-asses, not simple grunts.

This is a nod for the Red Shirts from Star Trek?

I think there were also Vehicons in Beast Machines.

Theres various minions in Power Rangers like the putties, tengu warriors and crybots.
Do Terminators count?
Red Steel 2 had the Jackals, Katakara clan and Ninjas.
Speaking of ninjas what about the Foot and Krang bots from TMNT.
The Space Pirates from Metroid.

That the mos I can think of.
If there is a not-so-badass version of Terminator, sure.
But if it is Alnor Schwarzenegger Versio, NOPE!

Zerglings [http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starcraft/images/1/18/Zergling_SC2_CineCardToPlay1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100916100946] come to mind, as do the
Thanks. Now I'm picturing the zerglings as over-eager yes-men.

Kerrigan: "I say we assimilate all life in the universe"
Zerglings:
"Brilliant!"
"This is your best one yet!"
[sub]"I was just about to suggest that myself"[/sub]
We need a Saturday 90' TV Cartoon like this......I am just saying.

Here's a nice obscure one for you. In the Three Worlds Cycle (fantasy literature), you have the Whelm, previously known as the Ghashad. They're an entire race (human, yes, but a separate race of humans, just as we have Semites, Slovaks, Slavs, etc.) who are literally born to serve. That's the entire reason for their existence, though they may have other talents they've always had a master, and they can't even remember their history before their first master. They operate as the main servants and soldiers of Rulke (the apparent villain of the first cycle, who later turns out to be pretty decent compared to some of the so-called protagonists), and when he's banished to another realm they go into hiding as they have no master to serve. They're brought out of hiding by Rulke's archenemy, Yggur, who renames them the Whelm and makes them his terror-guard, only for them to renounce Yggur and serve Rulke again when he returns from his banishment.

(by the way, not really spoilers there, as all this happens in the first book of an eleven-book cycle...)

Let's see...

- Those Ninja Crows from Samurai Pizza Cats. Somehow those are the first I thought off.
- Don't forget Red Shirts in Star Trek, aka good-guy-minions.
- The Ginyu Force from Dragonball Z.
- Death Eaters from Harry Potter.
- The Anbu from Naruto are good-guy-minions as well.

That's all I can think off for now.
Dead Eaters.....can you post a pic of a generic Dead Eater, so I don't get exposed to the spoilers.......f*ck me, I saw a BIG SPOILER F*CK.

Also a generic Ginyu Force member, cause I see some unique ones only.

I thought of a few more-

Moblins http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Moblin or Bulblin http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Bulblin from Legend of Zelda franchise (Bulblin appear in Twilight Princess and Spirit Track but they look more of a lacky type).

Koopa and Gumba from the Mario franchise.

Bianky http://viewtifuljoe.wikia.com/wiki/Bianky from Viewtiful Joe

Imp http://okami.wikia.com/wiki/Imps from Okami

Angel of Paradiso from Bayonetta http://bayonetta.wikia.com/wiki/Angels_of_Paradiso

Milbot grunt http://metalarms.wikia.com/wiki/Milbot from Metal Arms: Glitch in the Systerm.

Also here are links to saved you some time and rouble finding out the many many Power Ranger and Sentai minions-

Well, one could make the argument that the rest of the Halflings under Melvin Underbelly's rule can count as "minions", but it's still a bit iffy.
Also the Glorious Empire's soldiers, the weak ones, could be "minions" as well, since they can even be aided by a superior to create a formation and gain increased effectiveness in combat, and otherwise are pretty useless without support.

How about pawns from Dragon's Dogma? Look, act and for the most part think like humans, but they don't have any true identity or will of their own and can't act unless they're serving a true human.

Every human below the Emperor of Mankind

OH! Minions, the literal ones from Evil Genius, which is a highly underrated game.
Can you be more specific with the Tyranids, Necrons and Emperor Armies?
Like for example the Zerglings from Zerg's Army.

Technically all the creatures in Dungeon Keeper, but I'd only include the oh-so-slappable imps.

The Team Rocket (or other gen specific mob) grunts.

Most enemies you fight in the Arkham games, especially the color-coded hooligans from Arkham City.
I think I will put the names the grubts have from the comics and TV Shows.
It will be a more universal listing, because if I put any kind of grunts from every single Batman media, It will take a lot of time.

The Koopas/Goombas in the Mario franchise?
Eggman's robots in the Sonic franchise?
The Krimzon Guard in both Jak 2 and Jak 3?
The shadows in the Persona series?
Gru's Minions from Despicable Me?

I think some of my other choices were said already...
More specific for Eggman's Robots?
Also I think the Shadows in the recent Persona games, aren't exactly minions per say.

Kobolds and goblins in almost everything. Orcs at least get to be the big bad sometimes.
Vorcha in mass effect.
Koloss and steel inquisitors in Mistborn.
The Moonrats from Bowl of Souls.
Specific well-known Kobolds, Orcs and Goblins I can put in the list?
