I was thinking 'shuvvelware' for some reason... But my point still stands.
The startrek mmo is definately vaporware!
How many times has it been 'remade' in the past year? ;)
Its kinda like Duke Nukem: Forever...
Since Cryptic took over Star Trek Online from Perpetual Entertainment they've made more progress in a few months than Sony has in a few years of developing The Agency. The Game Informer story was proof of that and you can see that progress continue on its official site.

Meanwhile, SOE continues to peddle about the same old concept art and the same, tired demo they've been pushing to the press for quite some time. If they don't cancel it by the end of the year I'll be shocked, especially considering that DC Universe Online, another SOE title for the PS3, seems even further into development in a much shorter amount of time.

Actually, I just remembered this story I did in November when there was a cancellation scare-

Give ST MMO's track record, I think theres more chance of The Agency going gold then ST.

You know, unless they try to make another failed movie to game to mmo attempt... (litterally, the new ST movie)

Huxley is supposed to come out towards the end of the year although rumours claim it wont see life outside of Korea. A pity.
