As there are many threads on the escapist that either tend to praise or attempt to rip to shreds a game series or an entire genre. I thought i'd take this one step further and rather then coment about a game series I'd instead focus on the people who make the games the developers, programmers, the designers and ultimately a games creator etc.

So with this in mind who do you believe to be the most annoying games studio of them all?

What is your opinion?

I'm saying Bungie, because while they made games before, they're extremely famous for Halo and now the market is supersaturated in things that milk the Halo cow, much of which isn't Bungie's fault.

I'm gonna go for Lucas Arts.
Seriously, where did all the epic adventure games go?

3D realms for not releasing the best game ever. It will happen, just wait a little bit longer...

for companies ACTUALLY producing stuff, Lucas Arts, because we all stopped caring about starwars games a while ago and they can't show us anything new.

This thread seems to have turned into "worst developers". In my opinion, the most annoying developer is Valve, not that they make bad games, but their games reliance on Steam as DRM infuriates me. For example, me and my brother bought the Orange Box together, me wanting to play HL2 and TF2, he, Portal. I install it, whilst logged in on my Steam account, which bounded the games to that steam account. When my brother logged on to his account on the computer (not steam), wanting to play the games, we found that he had to log in to my steam account to access the games. The games are installed on your steam account rather than on your computer, which annoys me to hell and back.

How exactly is the market supersaturated? The series has had, what, 4 games?

Suppose Nintendo were supremely annoying during the 80's/90's then as Mario started off a craze of Mario'esque platformers...

I'd have to say the 'new' Sega (when they got bought up by Sammy around 2003). Sega used to be about arcade excellence, AAA pick-up-and-play games, but they've shifted to making/ publishing Western games whilst squeezing as much money out of Sonic to make Nintendo feel conservative with mario...

Ah, speaking of which, Nintendo. Shouldn't need to explain.
