Well, besides HL2: Episode 3 and Portal 2 (I'm a pretty huge fan of both franchises), I'm actually really looking forward to Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2. Crysis 2 because from what I've sen so far, it actually looks like it'll be fun to play, and seeing as I'm currently reading one of Richard Morgan's novels, I have absolutely no worries about the quality of the story. Dead Space 2 because my two only real complaints about the first game (The repetitive mission structure, which mainly consisted of dictatorial fetch quests, and the fact that it had a silent protagonist when the plot centered around said protagonist's personal tragedy) seem to have been rectified. I'm especially interested to see precisely how mentally unhinged Isaac has become after what happened in the first game.

We all have games we are looking forward to, but so far, from the ones that have a release date, this is by far the one that has me most hyped

What about you? What game are you looking forward too and what is it's release date?

What game release have you looked forward to the most?

I was intensely excited for both Spore and Fallout 3. I'm glad fallout didn't disappoint, because otherwise it would have been a very depressing winter.

I am currently really excited about Fallout New Vegas.

Second hardest game in the world.
After I Wanna Be The Guy of course.
For me I was never so looking forward to anything as much as I was HL2.
Until the episodes were announced.
Now: Every Valve release?

Dead Rising 2 in August. It'll have been 4 years since the first game by the time it finally gets released. Provided they don't delay again that is. So yeah, I'm pretty pumped even though I'm gonna miss Frank West. He covered wars you know.

Other than that, Fallout: New Vegas and Halo: Reach are high on my "GOTTA PLAY" list as well as Crackdown 2 and TF: War on Cybertron later this month. But definately DR2 is my #1 pick for most wanted of the year.

New Vegas and Cataclysm are the only ones on my radar at the moment.
Cataclysm is released "when it's done" and New Vegas on 11/16/2010.

I don't know any games that are slated to come out in the near future. Guess I'll see what E3 brings. Would be better if I could go see E3 in person. But meh. A girl can dream, right?

Guilty Gear umm what would they call it... Well a new guilty gear. Nothing has been confirmed but very solid reliable sources say there will be one just not sure when. Guilty Gear Accent Core already takes up anywhere from 50-75% of my gaming time it use to be higher but not many people around me playing it anymore. So when this new guilty gear comes out let it take 95% of my gaming career and time. the other 5% will be multiplayer games with friends.

I was pumped for Fable 2, and then that fell quite flat.
Mass Effect 2 and also especially Dragon Age: Origins had me hyped a lot also, and delivered much better than Fable 2. Mass Effect 2 still letting me down a little.

Overall I tend to get overly excited about some types of games, like for instance also Alpha Protocol. I am by no means member of the upper-class, but I have money, and I consistently make myself a fool by pre-ordering whatever I think looks interesting.

All in all most of the games I've bought due to the "Wow, that looks fucking awesome"-factor, have turned out quite badly.
