This kinda goes against my avatar but I'm gonna go with The Shawshank Redemption. Gregory Peck is just my overall favorite actor (Morgan Freeman second). By the way, anyone who is a fan of that movie should look up the changes that were made between the book and the movie and tell me that they didn't make the movie a thousand times better.

Yor: Hunter from the future!

Not really (reward yourself for getting the reference) of course, I really like a lot of movies for many reasons, so its hard to pick just one. Right now I really like Silence of the Lambs, which I've only seen this year. Everything from the music to the characters is great and I'm really regretting not seeing it sooner. Honorable mentions go to the Kill Bill movies, Rough Riders, Predator and anything with Sam Elliot.

The most awesome movie ever has yet to be invented, in my opinion anyway.
Re-cutting all 73 episodes of Battlestar Galactica into one monster 48-hour film.

It depends on the genre. For westerns I have to say Unforgiven. I loved how there weren't any true GOOD guys except maybe the writer guy, just varying degrees of bad.
For super natural types I say the original Crow is totally awesome.
Black Hawk Down and Platoon tie for War movies.

Just wondering what everyone would think is the most awesome movie ever.

For me, it HAS to be Stanley Kubrick's 1964 film Dr. Strangelove.

'You can't fight in here, it's the war room!'
Big Trouble in Little China.

I really like David Fincher's stuff, so I'd have to go with the cult classic Fight Club .

Though I agree, Dr. Strangelove definitely is one of the greatest movies ever.

I can't believe people actually like Princess Bride. I guess that means I'll get lots of angry messages, but at least I can look at my inbox and pretend that people want to talk to me :D

I think Blade Runner is awesome I mean it looked amazing for 1984, it had a deep story line, intresting characters, and of course anything even romotly cyber-punk is enough to make me screem like a little girl until I run out of oxygen and pass out...
