So, what's your favorite? No strings. You can pick anything you want.


I will go with the Black Knight's Armor from Don Rosa's story. You do not wanna mess with a French guy who apart from being the best thief in the world, has an armor and a fucking sword full of Omnisolve.

OnT. Most powerful fictional item/weapon etc? Just a little box with a button. When pressed, the Warp merges with the normal universe. The end.
Or Tyrranids!

Non fictional? Human imagination. Think what would happen if everything anyone imagined actually came true?

Use it enough, and if none of your "friends" tries to destroy it, and you can become insanely powerful. + you can use it as a bomb as is.

It can thus be surmised that the crowbar is from another plane of existence, not being affected by our laws of physics. It's quite likely that it isn't actually a crowbar at all, and simply resembles one to us so that our feeble brains wouldn't cave in under its impossibility. In the light of this, it could well be argued that the Resonance Cascade Event was not caused by any of the suspected reasons, but was actually due to the presence of the crowbar, which warped the expected results completely. Also, when Gordon attacks the Combine tower, his crowbar is seemingly obliterated into nothingness. However, this is not the case, as subsequentally his gravity gun is suddenly imbued with incredible power. It is well possible that the crowbar's reality-rending presence caused this.
Possibly the crowbar has some sort of a defensive mechanism against destruction, as it appears again later on. Due to the unique properties of the device, it would be impossible that every crowbar Gordon finds is a different one. This profound causality of the man always finding himself in the possession of the device is intresting, to say the least. Perhaps some outside force has seen it fit to outfit the One Free Man with such an awesome weapon of impossibility. Or, perhaps, the crowbar itself does as it desires...

Yeah I considered that, but though one is powerful, you need all 6 to get to galaxy crunching levels of power, which is a lot of hassle. Plus 4 of them were destroyed.

EDIT; If anything from 40k I'd say probably the armies of most races and factions themselves are pretty much impossibly powerful forces. I mean for one you have Orks, commonly said to be the greatest war machine ever, if only they could be controlled/directed (they especially count since they were created as a bioweapon in the first place). Then there's the ctan and Necrons, uber powerful star gods in unbreakable armour (one of whom became the literal personificication of Death in the galaxy) and the Necrons themselves who are utterly unkillable machines who were essentially victorious last time they were awake in their harvesting of all life.

And then there's Chaos. Deamonic hell gods from another dimesnion who feed on and grow in strength based on psychic energy from all living things, who regularly destroy whole sections of realspace whenever they get too powerful, which they all are, all the time, because the things they embody keep growing ever larger and out of control, which can only result in the complete destruction of all life, and most none life.

And let's not even get started on the Tyranids, infiinite numbers of space bugs who eat planets and never suffer losses in battle no matter how many are killed, who quite possibly have murdered everythign in several galaxies and which no race can really have a hope of stopping.

Oh and of course, the Emperor, who is a 50,000 year old semi-corpse whose pyschic power is so immense that he not only keeps the million planet wide Imperium functioning at all times, but also fights all 4 Chaos gods constantly and pretty much stops the destruction of everything, everywhere at once at the same time.
