Pavement have some catchy tunes and this is by far their catchiest. Once it's in your noggin it stays there.

Here's a fun one for you:

Not gonna lie, I've listened to this song at least a dozen times this past week. Ridiculously catchy.

I'd say Word Crimes by Wierd Al, and it's so great, because Blurred Lines were super catchy but with awful lyrics, and now I have the same catchy song but with great lyrics :D
Weird Al: Turning songs you hate into songs you love, even if all you did like about the original song was it's catchy beat...

OT: Besides anything straight out of Weird Al himself (been listening to Handy on repeat all day today), I just reminded myself [yesterday] that this is one of my favorite Game Grumps remixes of all time:

Other than that... anything straight out of the 80s 70s for me, overall... Oh, and also Bomerman:

Icona Pop are my go-to source of really, really stupid but catchy music (mostly on account of I don't really bother looking into music). Their new song "Get Lost" has not been out of my head since the day they uploaded it. Icona Pop... UK release, please?

Something my girlfriend keeps singing herself, "Surfin' Bird".
This one?

They say it drives sane men mad and mad men sane.

This is a ridiculous little number that I can't get out of my head. One day I'll grow up. Maybe. If I feel like it:

Actually I keep humming "Motherlover" of all of their songs. Why did they have to make the melody so catchy? The lyrics are so fucked up!

I'm hesitant to post it, but....oh what the hell.

Honestly, a part of me hates the song. It's pointless. It's stupid. And it's purposefully offensive.

Yet....it just keeps popping into my head. And another part of me doesn't mind it being in there.

Oh well. :/

Anyway, I've also "rediscovered" Mr. Weebl's collection of catchy (but stupid) songs. The following being the ones that have been stuck in my head recently:

And finally, this track that I discovered quite by accident when following a long string of youtube related music videos.

Not one that I've found recently, but this has always been one of my most-difficult-to-shake earworms.

I can't...

Please tell me you sing that under your breath without thinking, while at work.

OT:

It's incredible just how well it all mixes together.

Psh. There were two occasions where, while listening to 'all tracks' on random on my media player, that song started playing. And, just a few seconds after it started, someone came up to me to converse with me about something. As a result, even after I'd stopped the song, I still heard it in my mind while talking with the person. Making eye contact with the person.

It took every ounce of will to hold back the impending laughs.

Every ounce...

By the way, the extended version from that guys bandcamp page is a lot better than the edited cut he used for that video. Check it out, if you dare!

I dare anyone to listen to this for any longer than 2 minutes (from the brilliant Archer):

Two minutes is easy, that "song" makes me laugh all the time, I love it. It's great and If I wouldn't have gotten yelled at I would have went for the full hour instead of 5 minutes.

OT: No Idea why the hell I love this song so much, I normally HATE country with a passion. But every so often there's a gem like this and it's fantastic

I liked that. His voice isn't one I'd enjoy several inches away from my earlobe, though. It actually reminded me of this:

We were at an HMV in Glasgow once when the playlist on the speaker system put on the theme to Pulp Fiction (including the opening quote of "Any of you fucking pricks move and I'll execute every mother-fucking last one of you!"). This being Glasgow, the only comment on the floor was passed by my father, who commented, "Fair enough, then."

OT: I used to love this film when I was a racist midget:

Well, most recently there's Pharrell Williams' "Happy", but just mentioning that gets it stuck in five peoples' heads; I'm not going to be cruel enough to link it.

A bit further out, I really like Matt & Kim's "Daylight" (and the video is pretty good, too):

I recently heard about a band called the Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band. Looked them up, because with that name how could you not. Didn't know I was expecting, but it sure as hell wasn't 7-piece rhythm-and-blues. And now I can't stop listening to them.

That was all KINDS of sweet, thanks for sharing!

Bet you'd get a kick out of the Squirrel Nut Zippers - though it's been a couple of years since I discovered them, so they don't count here.

So - on topic, courtesy of Brentalfloss:

Damn thing has been stuck in my head for a week - and I'm loving it!

Let's face it... Thomas is a true OG to the point that he can make anyone's rhymes sound more cooler than they needed them to be...

Catchy as fuck, yo! Right in the nostalgia!!

I was browsing Super Sentai theme songs, and I came across the theme song of the newest one, ToQger:

I can't stop humming it.

Incidentally, this song got me interested enough in ToQger to watch the first battle of the show. You need to see this. Just... just trust me on this one. Watch it.

Yes, this is weird. Yes, it's aware that it's weird. It's also glorious.
