And I'm not even talking about the weird cult storyline. I think it may have been editted out in the american version, but I was playing this with a friend and we were laughing about how the main character appeared to shower in his underwear, and then the female lead took a shower and my eyes nearly popped out of my head: "OMG, you can see her nerps! No underwear showering for her!" and then there was a sex scene! Like, full on, polygonal hentai! I nearly died. I'm no prude about sex, but if there was one thing I didn't expect to see in a mainstream game, it was some hot, smokin' lovin' in a run down train car.

Maybe a little off topic, but that's the most surprised I've ever been in a game.

Before I got the game I thought it was going to be solely the Altair sections but boy was I blown away. Especially with the awesome twist at the end.

I'm gonna say The World Ends With You, first you think it is kinda simple when all of sudden it comes a TWIST!*SPOILER* Sho Minamimoto being alive again is one of them. And reading all the secret reports is really fun, interesting and enlightning.

I have to say that, though their plots in general weren't amazing, the Baten Kaitos games on the Gamecube have some of the most surprising twists I've seen happen in a video game...

Well, call me a noob, but I was very surprised by Assassin' Creed. I totally didn't expect the *SPOILER* almost supernatural twist with the Piece of Eden. The game went from a mix of standard sci-fi and historical fiction to something really mysterious and a little creepy.

I thought it was really surprising when the Sparrow turned out to be Auburn instead of Cade's brother. Not that anybody here will know what I'm talking about
