Im gonna say alundra for the ps1, not as many people played it as they did say ff7

its probably one of the best games ive ever played, the sequal was an unfortunate release as it didnt hold a torch to the 1st in terms of puzzle story and gameplay.

Infinite Undiscovery for the 360

It's more or less a standard JRPG, but I really enjoyed the story and the gameplay was pretty good.

*edit I've changed my mind, Jak & Daxter.

Beyond Good & Evil. No one seems to know about it yet it's so amazing.

I might replay it actually.

1. Master of Magic (Dos) never got the windows upgrade it so rightfully deserved.

2. Wizardry 7 (Dos/Win) never gave Sir-Tech the attention they rightfully deserved to stay in business.

3. Columns (Genesis) for proving there were better ways to play Tetris-like games a decade before PopCap and iWin ever existed.

4. Super Dodge Ball (NES) I mean really, why was there never a sequel to this gem? Or even another game like it on any system since? C'mon!

5. Brigadine (PS) since it's one of my favorite games of all time yet most people have never even heard of it.

But the grand winner would have to be Cosmic Encounters for being the greatest board game ever, but unfortunately bardgames in a whole are highly undervalued in this age of virtuality. Such a shame.

Planescape: Torment (Pisses all over Baldurs gate)
Primal
Ghosthunter
Okami

All loved by me and the occasional good games journalist but mostly unnoticed by the main stream kids

No one has ever heard of Shadowrun... And even less actually play it, but I reckon it's brilliant. 100% combat game that has loud guns and magic aspects adding to the gameplay, other games have magic and guns but this does it so well. The most underated game I have ever played.

If Obsidian had been allowed to actually finish KOTOR 2 it would be even better than the first game. As of now it is just an unfinished masterpiece. Still worth playing for the dialogue alone.

I don't see many people who remember the Tomba! series. Tomba! and Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return are two of the BEST games I have EVER played.

Beyond good and evil - Damn good game all-round

Killer7 - Batsh*t bonkers start till finish

Eternal Darkness Sanity's requiem - The sanity meter is one of the most original and fun concepts I have seen in a game also great story and good combat

There are allot of undiscovered gems for the Nintendo gamecube

Vampire the Masquarade: Bloodlines

I think it deserves more attention than it gets. Game has amazing atmosphere, good story, great gameplay and realy interesting (and unique?) view about vampires. Game depicts them as shadowy figures, living their own lives, known only as fairy tales for humans. And I really liked that in game they aren't just some beasts, craving only for blood. They are more humane than most people, drinking blood only because they must, in order to survive.

Biggest letdown for me was weak gunplay mechanics. Most weapons just feel weak and their design is mediocre. Also you must download a buch of paches, because game is extremely buggy.

But despite these flaws I really enjoyed the game and I really recommend it for anyone who likes (fps)rpgs.

Sacrifice - Damn that game was killer

Giants: Citizen Kabuto - It actually had a patch that knocked the graphics quite a bit up

Thoose games where brilliant, and deserved quite a bit more fame imho.

Those were both great games. I still have them installed and play them every now and then.

Okami. This was probably mentioned a billion times but still. Breathtaking visuals and original gameplay, one of my favourite games and nothing (to me) has matched up to it.

Besides, playing a Sun goddess incarnated into a white wolf wielding a magical paintbrush is awesome to the max.
