Both Vexx and Snowboard Kids were amazing yet no one I knew bought Snowboard Kids and no one had heard of Vexx, real shame it was a great platformer with a little more mature feeling.

Indigo Prophecy.

Just now picked it up at the local Flea market, and it is simply an amazing game. I'm amazed I hadn't heard about it before.

Okami is a gem out there I wasn't able to buy. I wish there's a sequel.

World of Goo is kind of out of the gamer's radar, IMO.

Oh I got one! Star Wars Republic Commando. Fantastic game, and I wish there was another one.
I played Republic Commando. It definitely had potential with the squad game mechanics, but it just felt like a gimmick to me and it was way to short. But if you enjoyed it try Rainbow Six if you haven't all ready.
Hmm you know, I haven't played that game. Thanks for the suggestion!

Okami & Psychonauts. Both original, awesome games mostly ignored by the mainstream because they lacked the token prepubescent boy/ hulking man-beast lead character.

Crackdown. I still play that game with my friends. Granted it isn't the best game ever but to my knowledge it was the first sandbox game to incorporate full online coop, and when stacked against GTA4's boring ass multiplayer it's very under appreciated. Plus the superpowers where fun, and it was pretty awesome to get into a compact sports car and watch it shift into the fucking batmobile.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. This game was fun, fast, colourful and explody. It had funny characters and a neat plot, and you played as a robot! It was one of my favourite games, and it ended in a cliffhanger, but for some reason no sequel was ever made. I'd like to see that so much. MAKE A SEQUEL!
I also had that game and loved it! apparently the reason a sequel wasn't made was because the company was bought by activision blizzard and plans for a sequel were dropped

-Planescape: Torment. It's so immense and compelling. Morte is one of my favorite characters.. Ever.

-Outcast. Although I really havent played it myself, I've heard some outstanding details about it. Like the revolutionary A.I.

-Megaman 1. I really like it. Some might say that Mm 2 is better, but what really boosted the series was the megabuster in Mm 4. Megaman 3 has the best title music though (and that makes any difference?..No)

Now, I'm getting down. hard.
-Deus Ex 2....(please don't hit me.. (and stop kicking too)). Comparing it to the original one would be genocide(or some cide whtvr). But a had fun with its multiple bugs and absurd design flaws. Every one should play the last level. I had killed one of the factions (knights templars, if i recall it correctly) agents and sabotaged it's doings through the whole game and in the final stage I did a tiny little job for them... And I say, they forgot everything else.. Maybe that's the future.

I have a few

Grandia 2 for the ps2: awsome game that included amazing story, awsome gamplay, a women who was a smokin hot devil woman who had an ability where she would float in the air and smash her high heels into an enemy!

Goblin commander: i play this game with my friends all the time and we all love it. sure its a watered down console rts but its still good dammit!

Shadow hearts 1-2: 1 word harmonixer

Jade cocoon 1-2: i loved this game to me nothing beat creating a walking stick with dragon skin.

Tomba 1-2: Pink hair equals unrivaled power!

Shin Megami Tensei: nocturne: for those who played it. enough said.

Edit: omg i forgot one

Magic pengle: this game was so amazing and creative because it let you be creative! sure it was hard to make anything good but the game was fun and it looked good so i love it.

oddworld stranger's wrath everyone must play this game
That truely was an awesome game, it's rocked so much. But most oddworld games were good =]

Um, going a few years back but not too far... All the old Rayman games before the they tried to base the game on the Bunny Macro. Also "Croc" I think it was called, an old PS1 platformer were you play a crocodile that washed up onto shore in a basket and was raised by orange fur... that kicked ass.
