Sorry if this is a repeat thread, but it appeared to be search bar-approved.

Anyway. This is a thread for us to show each other all of our favourite movie blunders, be it awkward line delivery, some poor ad-lib, poorly performed stunts, obviously trashy SFX (though, for obvious reasons some older movies could be exempt from this due to technological constraints). Basically, just awkward/funny moments which weren't in the script.

I'll start off with my favourite: the storm trooper who bangs his head while walking through the blast door in A New Hope. Genuinely cracked me up the first time I noticed it and I can't believe that in all of the editions of the film they've released that they haven't edited it out ... George Lucas is truly a frightening man.

Anyway, what are yours? There has to be more than just that single one.

The main one that comes to mind is in Jurassic Park. I'm not sure exactly when, but the T-Rex vanishes for a split-second near the end, while they're in the entrence to the park building thing. If I think of more, I'll mention them later.

Would be awesome if it was the same in real life. "Hey baby, I know you don't like me but magic tells me we should hook up".

OT: Like the OP, I'm going with the stormtrooper banging his head. It's funny that after 40 years no one bothered to edit that out.

Can we provide a youtube clip? I've never actually noticed it. Mind you, I've never really been looking for it.

"I don't like sand. It's coarse rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere". Yeah just like your acting you son of a *****. It's like Lucas tried to make Anikin as unlikeable as possible both with the hackneyed writing and the horrific casting choice of Hayden Christensen.

On that note, the scene near the start of The Fellowship of the Ring where Gandalf hits his head on the beam in Bilbo's house was originally unscripted, but Sir Ian Mckellen kept acting anyway.

In the scene where the raptors enter the kitchen, as the first raptor enters the kitchen, you can see someone grabbing its tail to hold the puppet steady.

Saturday Night fever, where Tony is dancing with Stephanie in a dance studio, the camera and other equipment can be seen when the dance couple are dancing in circles against the background of mirrors.

Dr. Who - "The Pandorica Opens": When the Cyber arm is shooting at the Doctor and Amy, there is a brief shot when the Doctor is talking where you can see the crew member who is shooting at them.

Well, it is not so much a blunder....but it was originally.

In A Knight's Tale, the main character's herald gives a big flowery speech, then the audience just stares......after a long awkward pause, one of the other main characters starts of a cheer, and the crowd cheers.

Happened because of a script error or somesuch, but was kept that way for being more amusing. Heheh.

I believe this is appropriate.
Haha, I liked that. Also, sorry for not posting a video of the stormtrooper, I still don't know how to embed videos in posts.

These are all good. If something's obscure (such as the raptor one above) maybe you could post a video too, so we can all see? I know I didn't but I sort of had an excuse.

The only one I can think of right now is in Pirates of the Caribbean. Apparently, for some reason, they didn't notice a man wearing a Cowboy hat in the recently Colonized Caribbean islands.

This was the only picture I could find of it.
Yep, the Image wasn't appearing when I tried to link it and I didn't want to go through the whole Imageshack process.
