Hello all!
My friend and I have decided to beging a Video-blog/blog, called the N Factor, in which we hope to analyze how games affect both the individual gamer and the entire gaming community. We plan on doing this by having two sections: Underneath the Underneath, and Pointless Pretention. Underneath the Underneath, which I will be writing, will focus on how video games make arguments and present those arguments to the individual gamer. I hope to help all of us to realize just how deeply our games effect our world views, as well as getting us as a community to begin analyzing our games in more depth.
My friend Victor will be writing Pointless Pretention, in which he will be looking at how video games effect our community as a whole, as well as how our community effects the way games are created. We hope to encourage a cornucopia of conversation and analysis so that we as individuals and as a community may come to better understand ourselves.
