So with Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby coming out in november, any hopes for other remakes or specific sequel?

quite frankly I'm up for Emerald, and Pokemon Z. Also wouldn't mind seeing Pokemon game which have all the regions within the one game. anyhow thoughts on pokemon games you'd like to see?

I find the idea of the new Emerald somewhat unlikely. Yellow Version didn't get a remake, and neither did Crystal. Frankly, I'm fine with just getting a new Ruby and Sapphire.

As for Pokemon Z... let's not make any assumptions just yet. Yeah, it's entirely LIKELY that Pokemon Z will come, but we said the same thing about "Pokemon Grey". And look what we got. Don't be surprised if Gamefreak decides make an unexpected move regarding the "third version" of X and Y.

As long as the story of Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby is that of Emerald's (since HGSS kept a lot of Crystal elements) I'm good. I definitely hope every Pokemon game from now on keeps player customization.

X2 and Y2? Might as well just call them XX and YY...

Poor joke aside, I want my Emerald remake, glob dammit! Also a Crystal remake... and a Yellow remake with Picku on the box art!

Other than that, Pokemon Z doesn't sound right without me, at least, thinking of Dragon Ball Z... I'm guessing they'll just call it Pokemon XYZ and just go from there... But, then again, I was totally wrong about Pokemon Rainbow, so there's that...

Just give me difficulty modes already, B2/W2 does not fucking count.

I'd also like another Pokemon Stadium game that has a rental system like the first two had, that might just get me to buy a Wii U.

Yeah, pokemon stadium 3 would be great, I was hoping for that with Battle Revolution (I think that's what it's called) but I was sorely disappointed. Another good one would be to make a sequel to pokemon conquest, that was a great game.

New Kanto remakes. Once the new Gen III games drop, Gen I will be the only generation you can't get on the DS platform. Also because despite the changes across the generations, Kanto is still my favourite region.

When i see a pokemon spoon and fork ( then maybe knife) i can die happy.

To be honest, there are too many pokemon to have me interested. We do however need another pokemon battle royal game.

I don't want remakes, just make a pokemon games with a gui that isn't designed by a pack of monkeys and offers actual improvements like a difficulty selection or an un-fucked breeding system instead of shitty gimmicks like beauty contests, badly implemented mass battles or completely unnecessary online features that only serve to become permanently unavailable 5 seconds after the next pokemon game comes out.

Basically, stop that "1 step forward, 3 steps back" dance with every iteration.

I don't own a DS of any kind so something for the WiiU would be nice, playing Pokemon Rumble U with a friend at the moment :)

I actually made a thread about the use of Amiibos in a pokemon game of some sort.
If someone is interested to read it here's a link:

I'm not really sure, I liked the GameCube Gale of Darkness game and something similar would be cool, maybe a bit free-er game, more open world and not only catching the dark ones but something :p

Bring back consoles from 3RD gen instead of the bullcrap they tried to replace it with (Like the Pokemon Musical. Seriously, what was the point of that?) and keep character customisation whilst adding more options and I shall die a happy man.
Maybe also a game that has all the regions, but I guess that'd have to be on Wii-u or another console if Nintendo stops being so insular.

While I understand their desire to keep the main games on handhelds, I wouldn't mind a Stadium or Mystery Dungeon game for the Wii U. Particularly a Mystery Dungeon.

If there's a Pokemon Spoon the mascot better be Alakazam!

OT: For me, I'd like to see some more remakes of older generations. I only just got into Pokemon when I got my 3DS after the release of Pokemon X/Y and after getting every Non-Legendary Pokemon (Thanks to breeding/trading a shit-tonne of Mudkips) I'd like to complete my Pokedex by catching whatever Legendaries I've missed.

I wouldn't mind a game that covered every region up to Kalos so far. sort've a definitive pokemon game. It has all the regions, you can only use pokemon within their own region (until you catch certain amount or finished the respective pokemon league) and I'd say if it had all the regions then they could finally throw in a difficulty system with each region getting harder and harder. so Kanto is your basic starter, Johto ups the difficulty, Hoenn is hard (although anyone could make the argument this should be the hardest region. dat swimming), Sinnoh and Unova can both be Very hard, and Kalos could be Pokemon Master difficulty, and each one requires you to have defeated the previous regions pokemon league. It'd be one very long game, but i'd say you would be getting your overall money worth with it. and getting legendaries would be its own goddamn challenge. But alas my idea would be too ambitious and not very franchised focus.

What's wrong with the UI and Breeding Sytem?

Also, that's not what "1 step forward, 3 steps back" means. That would imply that they add a feature, and take a lot away. Which they don't do, aside from a diminished battle frontier. Which is still the dimishing of only 1 feature.

I don't like silly dance studios or beauty contests either, there are /overall/ more features each game, but some are replaced by something new.

So tell me how your inventory in XY looks like. Is it easy to find items? Was it easier to find items in a previous version?
Tell me how long it takes to water your entire berryfield.
Tell me what the design of the menus when trading looks like. Like every other menu?
Is it easy and intuitive to use if you're used to the standard menus?
Can you communicate with your trade partner outside of voicechat? Could you in a previous version?

Tell me how often the game just fades to black for half a second for no reason other than waste your time.
Tell me what you have to do to hatch an egg and then humor me trying to explain why this is ok.
Tell me how easy it is to see the hidden stats of a pokemon and if a normal person would ever be able to make a "competetive" pokemon by themselves without the internet and why this is ok.
On that note, tell me how much fun it is to hatch ~50 eggs.
Tell me why EVs and wasting hours of your time training them is ok.

Tell me why spreading basic functions like forgetting moves or renaming your pokemon can't be done by yourself, why binding it to npcs scattered around the entire world, wasting more of your fucking time going to them is ok.
Tell me what the touchscreen is used for. Useful things?
Were there more useful things you could do with the touchscreen in previous versions?

I want to see Pokemon red/blue/yellow re-re-released on the 3DS. I love them games so much. I would also like to see a game where every Pokemon is available, as opposed to having to buy two versions of what is essentially the same game, I didn't mind as much with sapphire and ruby because at least they had different villains, but it would be better if they expanded on that a bit more, maybe having two completely different regions, and instead of becoming a Pokemon trainer, maybe having different career paths that you could choose from, like maybe a chance to become a Pokemon breeder or maybe a Pokemon researcher, as opposed to having Pokemon battles being the main focus.

Two things I don't want to see.

Another Kanto Remake. we've already been to Kanto 3 times. It's not that great of a region and there really isn't much to do there.

A game with all regions. I don't understand why people want this so badly. if you want to go back to a region then just play the game you already own. I would much rather have them work on making a new region great instead of wasting time gussying up what we've already seen before.
