So, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is coming out. Yep.
The LEGO games are pretty fun in my opinion, and I like the diversity of themes.
Batman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, pretty soon Pirates of the Caribbean, which might be pretty cool.
So, do you have any Ideas for the new LEGO games? It doesn't necessarily have to be a theme. It could be some sort of concept wrapped around LEGO too.
I want a definitive LEGO game. One where you can build the world around you. Heck, one where you can build the game around you. You construct your figures, both player and NPC, then design buildings for the overworld. Then the insides of the buildings are made by a tile system so you can make just one LEGO hallway and copy-paste it or a few variations.
Perhaps it could be played Diablo-style from a 3/4 angle as you control your character and fight baddies that you have scripted to run, shoot, attack, guard, or whatever. Then vehicles that you also build could help you around the world so you can fly a little jet or drive.
Then write your own story through the text the characters say, script the cutscenes and camera angles, possibly animate a few segments, and then finish it off and send it to a central database holding everyone else's creations.
Put it on the PC and Mac and BAM, you've met a wide demographic. Wouldn't this be awesome?
