So it started with comics, then we went to rock and roll, then rap and now videogames.
But what is the next moral panic for the ages that will have housewives yelling "Think of the children!"

I'm fairly sure that any form of media will have people who claim that its destroying the morality of our children. Movies, books, and even Pokemon all went through it. But, as seen through video games, its the new forms of media that tend to get hit the hardest. I'd say the newest form of media and entertainment comes from things like Facebook and apps for the iPhone/iPad, but it would be very hard to believe that moral watchdogs would be super focused on those. You never know I guess.

augmentations.
they will be cheaper for younger, more healthy people and thus people in their twenties will alienate us by taking pictures with their eyes and carrying cars.

My theory is that it will involve webshows. What with their growing popularity and lack of a uniform rating system.

I swear I was thinking of that when I started this thread.

Virtual reality.

"I know we used to say normal video games turned kids into murderers, but this time, we're really sure!"

Social networking, without a doubt. Or maybe just the internet in general, when it gets to the point where it's interesting enough that no-one ever goes offline.

Well, in my country we have this interesting little periodical called The Daily Mail. So over her, it's EVERYTHING!
