I think that the moogles and chocabos are GODS. The both of them travel through time and dimensions to aid their "prophets" aka main characters, to prevent certain evils from gaining a power that would tear the fabric of reality! Thus, stabilizing the many universes they traverse. Oh, and their "Christ" is actually named Cid. I stand by its feasibility.

That's actually not too far from the story of Dissidia Final Fantasy.

As for me, I always wondered how Solid Snake could get infinite ammo from wearing a bandana.

How come in fallout it is never explained why the enclave is evil? I know its for the sake of plot conveinince, but its never really explained that well why they are so moustasch trwilling-ly evil?

They rule through fear and discipline, if you make yourself look strong and menacing people aren't going to challenge you very often and it makes it much easier to get the job done.

The Enclave wanted the new America to be a perfect world in their view, that means killing all who they see as unfit to be living under them.

In Rayman, what was the entire point of Rayman tranversing the world and saving the Electoons eventhough he never fought Mr Dark himself, and what did he actually gain out of it?

Where the hell has he gone? its been about 3 main series games and all we had is a flock of Robot Pirates and uhh...never played Rayman 3.

Hopefully Rayman Origins shows more of Mr Dark, otherwise MD is secretly plotting revenge and what other shenannigans he's upto.

I'd like to see a bit of Mr Dark in Origins as well, he was a pretty cool villain.

How come Noveria in Mass Effect is a huge frozen wasteland where you die outside without a thermal suit and the planet synopsis says that the average temprature on the planet was -1 degrees Celsius?

Might be an average temp thing like during certain cycles of the year it's much colder/warmer, or on certain altitudes or areas of the planet its much colder/warmer, but they're less accessible or something. Maybe it's less stable (ground shifting due to thawing and refreezing) to build in some areas and instead they build in the colder parts because they can drill into the perma-frost.

wouldn't explain why the entire planet is covered in glaciers as seasons require a sun and thus if the planet was subject to one in a close enough radius to effect the average temperature of the surface, the entire planet wouldn't be frozen and to reach an average of that nature it would essentially require half the planet to be on fire.

Final Fantasy: Seeing all those costumes the characters wear in Final Fantasy games...I always imagine how much of a PAIN it is to put those impractical outfits on each morning.

Mass Effect: How do the Quarians go to the bathroom? How are the Hanar just floating around; are their tentacles actually able to support them? Humans can live to 150 years in the ME universe....so do they age differently....as far as when grey hair comes in, when wrinkles set in? Like, instead of seeing wrinkles appear in your 40s...in 2180s, do humans not see wrinkles set in until their 80s, their 90s?

Anyway, I think Duke Nukem is blind. From Duke Nukem 3D onwards he decided to wear sunglasses all the time so he could hide his disability but has insane senses that allow him to act as if he still had eyesight and decided to become Super-awesome-mega macho because he is insecure about himself and doesn't want people to think less of him for being blind.

In Super Mario Sunshine, it's scary enough that Bowser tells Bowser Jr. Peach is his mother. It's scarier that when Bowser Jr. mentions this while holding Peach captive, she asks, "I'm your mama?" She never attempts to deny that it wouldn't be possible--meaning that clearly it was. I'm left wondering just what Bowser and Peach did while she was held captive at his castle all those times...

She did sound a bit taken aback by what Bowser Jr. said. And being a lady she should know if she was the mother. I mean come on child birth already hurts but Bowser's got spikes all over his shell. She would've remembered unless... She's a mushroom that breeds by spores!! (she is princess of the toad kingdom after all)

Why does Shepard become renegade for using a trigger event to take out a hostile pre-emptively, but is rewarded with Paragon if he waits for the battle to start, then kills the same target and after the combat say something saintly?

Why won't he kill Sister Petrice after she tries to have you killed the first time around, yet has no problem brutally killing people left-right-and-centre just because a quest board states that someone has done a naughty. Petrice gets off without as much as a reprimand!

Why do random mooks - not crack commando units or collectors or whatever, but random mercenaries think they can tangle with shepard and win? Shepard, exemplar of humanity, Shepard, first human spectre, Shepard who stopped an entire all-out Geth assault?

It baffles me. If I was a merc and Shepard was coming through I would run. Run far away. No paycheck is worth that.


Hell, on a similar and more broad note, why are so many video game characters so suicidally brave? The progtagonist cuts through waves after waves of men and rarely will anyone - even normal human beings - decide to break and flee. Decide "fuck it, we can't stop them like this! We gotta get out!" They just keep on coming, as if convinced that if it didn't work for the last 200 guys, well, damnit, it's got to work for them.

How do Sci-Fi super-soldiers operate their fancy power suits?

In a variation on this, I often wonder where they stow their weapons and where the hell they pull ammo from. It just sort of seems to appear in the hands of guys like Master Chief despite a complete lack of magazine pouches to store his spare ammo in.
