I play varsity football for my high school and lift weights everyday so i've made this thread for people to gloat about how much they can lift on different sets.

Ok, I'm not sure I can contriubte to this topic seeing as I'm no body builder. I just want to make mention of a protien bar Larenxis and myself came across. It's known to many as:

Oh Yeah!

Man I need to get me some Oh Yeah! before I die. Perhaps an Oh Yeah! overdoes may be the thing that ends my life. Time will tell. Oh Yeah!

You're an idiot.

Oh, I just started working out regularly.

The highest I've benched (Just lifted and lowered once) is just about 198 pounds (90 kg.). Normally I work out with either 132 (60 kg) or 154 (70 kg) though, for repetitions.

With dumbbells I do 22 pounds (10 kg.) and 33 pounds (15 kg.) depending on which type of workout I'm doing; Normal dumbbell, dumbbell fly etc.

I squat 176-198. (80-90 kg)

Oh, and I do 3x10 push-ups 3 times a day. :)))

My daily workout is kicking ass.
I lift whales just to show them who's boss.
As a warm up/cooldown exercise, I fight sharks and bears at the same time.

...

Sorry.

I completely forgot; How about yourself, Angus Young? You can't start a topic like this, without providing information about your own weightlifting SKILLS :D

Let's have 'em.

Since I'm a chick, I prefer to tone, rather than build. I use anywhere between eight and twelve for freeweights, and 54 on a bar.
Sounds meager, sure, but I get my exercise. Besides, have you seen female bodybuilders? No offensive to them, since they have demonstrated such dedication and determination to get to where they are, but we... have very different ideal body images.

The highest I've tried to bench was 200 on one of the machines at my old high school. I can't do that much with a barbell since I have terrible balance when on the bench, so I just do push ups when a machine isn't available. For bicep curls I do 45 in concentration curls, 55 standing. I haven't done a military press or a (weighted) squat in a while. The highest I've gone with a leg press was around 450, if I remember correctly. I haven't tried to max out since junior high, so I don't really know how high I could go.

I started lifting weights/bench pressing combined with some general exersizes a few weeks ago to help stay in shape(although my most recent fallot 3 binge probably isn't helping).

Nice to see the legendary Danish sense of homour alive and well.

God knows about weight lifting, I weigh 76kg and I'm 6ft 4, the closest thing to weight lifting I do is bunnyhopping a mountain bike. But I can do a lot of those.

I'm flattered that you knew I was Danish, and I liked your post better before the edit.

I knew he was kidding, that's doesn't change the fact that the energi he used to write the post was fuelled by sheer determined retardation. Thus he is an idiot.

Sorry. But that's not very nice. I only wanted to tell everyone of a very stereotypical protien bar I found. I thought it was funny to have such a stupid name and thought someone else might get a kick out of it. I see I was wrong. I have failed and will leave The Escapist forever. Goodbye my friends.

Alas, you will be missed. Perhaps you should start working out and then you could fight him for your rightful place on the forum.

I don't exercise due to laziness, although I do walk to school and play the drums until I am sweating profusely.

Meet you at the fight pole at 7 (Greenwhich time). Be there or be square. I need some Oh Yeah! before I go into this.
