I was just talking to ansem1532 about how I wonder if there are any skaters[skateboarders] on the Escapist other than myself. So if you skate tell and talk about how good you, what your area is like, and whether you have a friendly neighborhood skate company like around here. In the humble town of Wheeling WV we have the murder one skate team created by rapper[not a big fan but he helps]Juice. He help get our skate park which is one or two years old. I enjoy vert but sadly my best trick is a fakie shuv-it rock to FS revert

I skated for about 8 years, and got pretty decent at street. I had to give it up though because i inherited bad knees, and even in high school, a bout of skating with my buds would leave me to go home and ice them for an hour so I could still walk. But by the end, I had a pretty nice repetoire of moves, most of which would be showcased down flights of stairs or funboxes in parks. My brightest highlight was a 360 flip down a 6 set of stairs, over top of the hand rail. I was pretty pumped about that, saddly I broke my board shortly after doing a pop shove it and accidentally stomping the tail. I really miss it though, and wish I didn't have such garbage knees, but at least I can still snowboard (which I love).

I've been skating for 7 years. DFL now for sure. I skate everything, but I like bowls and pools the best. Something with tight transitions, good fast lines, cement coping and tile. Like I said though, I'm open to pretty much anything. I love everything about skateboarding.

I never really got into the tech tricks too much, but I've got some airs, grinds, and inverts going on transitions, and some ledge, wallride, and small-to-midsized gap skills going in the streets.

I just moved, and I'm still getting used to the changes in the skate scene here. We had a really good park with a bowl, vert ramp, and some other stuffback home though.

I snowboard too. Pretty much all street with that, cause I'm so damn broke. I still need to get on that before the winter ends.

Yeah, I'm pretty much an expert at skateboarding. I can do the "Fall Off Board, Scrape Knee and Cry." Oh, and I can do the "Try to Jump on Board but Slip, Scrape Knee and Cry." Funny, all of my moves end with "Scrape Knee and Cry."

I used to be a pretty keen Inline Skater a few years back.

I don't know if I'm welcome here. We all know what skaters think of my kinds.

I do all kinds of boarding. Mountain boarding, surfboarding (which I have done all my life), skateboarding and snowboarding (because skiing is boring!)

I used to. I did it for a year. I was decent, all I could do was kickflip. Then I discovered music, and haven't touched it since.

I skated for a few years. I wasn't that good. The only thing I was any good at (even then, not great) was flatland. I was okay at manual-ing....
If I remember rightly, the best trick I did was a Nollie Hardflip over a small gap (a gap in poorly laid paving stones) which was pretty much the highlight of my *ahem* career...
