Any game with bosses that can attack you when you are down, so you can never and get up and you die.

God of War. I've spent hours upon hours exploring Pandora's Temple, dying time and again, enduring that final room of harpies and numerous swear words (coming from me), and the fabled Box is mine. I'm dragging it out, and a cutscene shows that Ares' spider-sense is tingling. So he picks up a stone column, hurls it thousands of miles across a huge desert and IMPALES ME SQUARE IN THE CHEST, killing me instantly and making me watch with my dying breaths as more harpies (*twitch*) steal the box away.
Worst part is, Ares is kind of, y'know, a GOD, so I can't even really call hax - it's what he does. All I could say was, "OH COME ON!"

For me it was Persona 4 after going up against a boss, the mascot/support character says that there is a powerful enemy in the old boss's room, I head in there to find an enemy that I had fought 100 times before but this one was slightly bigger, the normal enemy spawns assist characters but this one didn't and I thought nothing of it. THEN, about 6 turns in the damn thing used a move callec "Rampage" where it hit over 150 hp on EVERYONE and the issue with that is that my Max HP was only 217 and everyone else in my party had even less health and not to mention we had all taken a beating from the enemy's retarded 3 shot attacks.
When playing Left 4 Dead Survival ontop of No Mercy hospital, whenever one of my team members is knocked right off of the building from a Tank or Charger.
Also when in GTA4 you're in the middle of a chase, you lose who you're chasing after and have to start the whole mission all over again
and any death I've ever got because you're character dies if they're in mildly deep water for just a second, e.g. the first Assasins Creed.

Alistair just (and I mean It's tabbed out RIGHT NOW) dumped me in DA:O......wtf? But I...... There was no other......I ........Goddamn IT!!!
Great, now I have to replay 3 levels just so that ***** Anora doesn't betray me..... brilliant!

I don't know how much headshot that didn't count in Call of duty..
But my no.1 and 2 "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME" are Wiegraf in FF: Tactics and the entire franchise of Metal Gear.

This part actually really bothered me. Her justification for letting you go is that you're hard to kill, then she immediately sets up like fifty turrets pointed right at you in an elevator with no way out. Seems like that "hard to kill" thing is solved. Then she doesn't kill you. It's completely contradictory and gives no valid reason for your escape.
I really didn't expect a Valve game to so thoroughly ruin my suspension of disbelief and knock me out of the game world in one of the most detailed, charming and compelling game worlds I've been in. So that's my Oh come on! moment.
Whenever cutscene incompetence comes in and ruin your day.
Or that the only way to progress is by being forced to make stupid choices.
Whenever the big bad guy start a monologue, fight you (and lose badly) and then escape by plot-teleportation or some other BS like that when you could just kill them right there and then.
Whenever my NPC allies are shown doing dumb things (like getting killed like so many brainless redshirts) just to show how "badass" the bad guys are (when they arent)
Or that the only way to progress is by being forced to make stupid choices.

In the last level of Gitaroo Man. The first time I played it I just stared at the screen thinking Jesus H, I thought Born To Be Bone was hard but this is just madness!
I still can't wrap my head around how anyone could achieve S on that level. I don't even want to know how the Master version looks like.

Anders, blowing up the freaking chantry. I'm sitting there listening to him agg-on the already bad situation, generally expecting to have to tell him to just shut up, then boom! I distinctly remember saying something like, "Oh come on now! You did not just do that! Tell me you did not just do that! You, you son of a... *Stream of curse-words here*!" Oh how I hate that man...
This same thing happened to me once when I was playing multi in FarCry 2. I put about 6 dragonuv rounds into the head/upper chest of an enemy that was pretty far away and he turned and one-shotted me with a shotgun.teqrevisited said:
