Yeah, there was a opera right after that and you're actually set free, but still it made GLaDOS seem like an actual despicable b#$%^ for a moment. After all I did for her, she gets her turrets against me again? I mean; COME ON.This part actually really bothered me. Her justification for letting you go is that you're hard to kill, then she immediately sets up like fifty turrets pointed right at you in an elevator with no way out. Seems like that "hard to kill" thing is solved. Then she doesn't kill you. It's completely contradictory and gives no valid reason for your escape.
I really didn't expect a Valve game to so thoroughly ruin my suspension of disbelief and knock me out of the game world in one of the most detailed, charming and compelling game worlds I've been in. So that's my Oh come on! moment.
How about your first battle with that poochyena that just happened to be shiny. F*** YOU GAME!!!CakeDragon said:When playing Pokémon, when you're on that last grass tile and you get a random encounter.
In fact, any game where you're a step away from safety and you get a random encounter.
Even worse is when it's off the highest point of the stands, not counting the towers, all the way onto the cement. Happened to me several times while I was desperately covering my team's exit on Expert. Admittedly, it was half-amusing to see such bad luck, half-angering to die like that.MasterSteef said:When in Left 4 Dead 2 during the Rock concert finale as you are sprinting desperately towards the waiting helicopter, a tank sucker punches you away into the stands... OH COME ON!
yeah, that does my head in, so does Shao Kahns 4 shoulder charge combo or his X-ray (60% damage, coooome oooooon, even for a boss that's harsh)VikingSteve said:When you get 5 hit combo'd in MK when their HP is at like || this much. Then Xray you and you lose.
FUUUUUUUUUUU
Especially annoying with Mileena.
