You regain health depending on how many skillpoints you get. That would have absolutely perfected the mechanics for me.

I know a lot of people have mixed feeling on this game but I for one loved it. I love how cathartic it feels, I love the over the top style and I love its immature joke that it makes because it's aware of what kind of game it is. The biggest problem I had though was the regenerating health. I'd be on a rampage getting points with pricked and vertigo and mercy and pancake, but then have to hide in cover because I'm taking too much damage. That is not how it should be. Reward the player for being active and brash and obnoxious, just like the game is.

So would this be a liable mechanic? Would it be fun? What else was the game lacking in gameplay?

and please don't say you didn't play the game. That really doesn't add to the discussion...

It also needed a lot more skillshots. I've gotten ton of creative kills that I only earned 10+ for because shooting a guys hand off or kicking him into another enemy, killing wither him or the other guy or both don't count.

And yeah, that is a good alternative to regenerating health. Makes it so that it's impossible to just simply shoot guys.

Really hoping the game gets a sequel. I know it underperformed but lots of crappy games that didn't sell well have gotten sequels greenlit.
