You regain health depending on how many skillpoints you get. That would have absolutely perfected the mechanics for me.
I know a lot of people have mixed feeling on this game but I for one loved it. I love how cathartic it feels, I love the over the top style and I love its immature joke that it makes because it's aware of what kind of game it is. The biggest problem I had though was the regenerating health. I'd be on a rampage getting points with pricked and vertigo and mercy and pancake, but then have to hide in cover because I'm taking too much damage. That is not how it should be. Reward the player for being active and brash and obnoxious, just like the game is.
So would this be a liable mechanic? Would it be fun? What else was the game lacking in gameplay?
