Only a week? I think you'd need at least a month to get the full experience.
Firstly, I wouldn't tell my male friends who I was. I'd want to see how well I could lead them on and totally mess with their heads.
Secondly, I'd be trying to learn as much as I could from my female friends about being a girl. If I can use this short time to better understand the female psyche then I can get a lot more fun out of it than just a week of being a girl.
Thirdly, well...you know, enjoy my new body. Buy a nice dress, or several more likely, figure out heels, get somebody to buy me a nice meal and never call them again.

Pablos 1 week MtF itinerary:-
Day one: Explore one's self and go get some proper fitting clothes.
Day two: Go out for a jog see if I run like a girl...Also will take the dog out with a ball to see if I also throw like one.
Day three: Go online and actually use my mic, and see if I still get called a hacker.
Day four: Get on my mountain bike, see if new body configuration effects my riding for better or worse...Also before riding get a female specific saddle too see if it makes a difference (Two short rides in a day switching in between).
Day five: Go for a swim...See if I can float (currently I sink like a brick - figure boobies and a womb would counter this).
Day six: Go out to town with my mates, see how different people treat me (already got some idea from halloween but this would be different). Also usually share a bed with a lesbian on my nights out (props go out too my friend!(She has a bed that's closer than mine)) - See what happens there.
Day seven: Go too the flicks and see some chick flick and judge emotional change.

The fact that "experiment" has a meaning as a technical term in the context of psychology does not mean that uses of "experiment" in other contexts should conform to that meaning. This is why it is almost universally a bad and confusing idea to use already-coined words as technical terms. Why nine out of ten theory builders continue to appropriate everyday words for their technical terms I will never know. Also, this could still be a psych experiment, it would just be a very, very bad one.
On topic: I would have a fucking blast. For one, there are so many straight guys who would suddenly be fair game. For another, yes, masturbation would be a top priority (while I'm not attracted to women precisely, I wouldn't have any trouble BEING one (which is not to say that I have anything against being male either)). Hell, I would probably even go for other women; while straight girls don't really interest me by and large, I could definitely see some lesbians as attractive. And the CLOTHES. That would probably be the best part. I mean, you can only have so much sex, but you can wear clothes WHENEVER YOU WANT. And just imagine that savvy gay fashion sense AS A GIRL. YES.
The only downside I can see is boobs. For one thing, I just don't get boobs. I can see how other parts of women are attractive, but big boobs just make absolutely no sense to me. More importantly, they would be a pain in the ASS.
I'd go get plastic surgery to see how big my tits could get without me falling over. Then, I'd go rob a bank or something, I don't know.
