I've only played the XBox 360 version of the Orange Box.
The PS3 version can't be that bad.

Apparently it's rather glitchy. Valve seem to dislike programming on the PS3.
Fair enough, i'be heard a lot people say its shite, but i wasnt sure whether it was just the xbox fanboys bashing the ps3 or genuine awfulness with the ps3 port

If I remember correctly, the PS3 version was outsourced to another developer to make the port for it, it's not the best version. I got the 360 version instead.

I have heard the same thing about the PS3 version. But why not buy the PC version so you can use custom maps and such. And you could have downloaded it and be playing it already for only 20 bucks.

Dude... I don't mean this as a flame or whatever, but you REALLY made the wrong choice. With Valve stuff, from lowest to highest in order of quality:
PS3 (if released at all)
360 (mods/updates not released because Microsoft are idiots, or if they are released then you pay Microsoft for content that PC gamers get free)
PC (the main platform that they develop for).

With the PS3, you get buggy gameplay, poor controls and most importantly- no updates for TF2. The PC has just had it's 7th and 8th Character Update (The Soldier/Demoman), we're just waiting for the Engineer's one now.

Sorry man, if you can run it on your PC, my advice is to sell the PS3 copy and buy PC.

Hell, for £17, you can have it as fast as your PC can download it.

Being at uni i dont have a decent enough computer to play many games on, so i stick with my ps3 whenever possible

It's fine, I have it, didn't see anything wrong. If you haven't played any other version you probably wont even notice that there are any 'issues'.

I borrowed the PS3 version of the Orange Box for my sister and we were laughing at how horrible it was. It had slowdown and crashing issues, the audio would go distorted very frequently and also had the occasional graphical glitch. I really think you should've bought the PC version.
