Me and a friend of mine have played this game quite a bit, we found it very fun and didn't want to stop playing. The Outfit is a third person shooter for the Xbox 360 that is set in WW2. You can choose between 3 characters:
Deuce Williams-Commander, most effective against vehicles and emplacements.
Weapons-Bazooka
.45 Revolver
JD Tyler-Sniper, most effective with long range shots.
Weapons-Sniper Rifle
Shotgun
Tommy Mac-Infantry, most effective with getting right into the fight.
Weapons-Light Machine Gun
Flamethrower
When playing you can have 4 NPC soldiers fighting with you. If they are killed you can call in more and within 5 seconds they will parachute in.you can also call in for vehicles such as tanks, jeeps, and trucks, or machine gun nests and anti-tank guns to set up a defence.
The levels are actually quite long and the action never stops, you are always in fire fights or trying to survive against and endless amount of tanks.Throughout the levels there are certain mandatory and optional objectives you will have to accomplish. You will also be given the chance to get medals by doing a certain task.Medals count as cheats that you can use in the game, and will allow your character to receive a better weapon.
Destruction On Demand is what the vehicles and guns you call in for are referred to. As you kill enemy soldiers or tanks, and capture checkpoints and motor pools, you will get points which will allow you to buy things from Destruction On Demand. But, you will not be able to purchase tanks or any other vehicles unless you capture the enemies motor pool or armories. As you progress through the game you will be able to buy better vehicles and weapons from DOD.
All in all I found this game very enjoyable, best played with a friend. the only con that i have found so far in that in the multi-player story mode, you CANNOT save, you must go through the entire game without stopping.
