If the statement "This statement is false" is true, then it is not true.
If it is false, then it is true.

I got that from George Carlin.

Here's one: If God can do anything, then can he create a rock so heavy that he can't even lift it?

He's gotta be lying, so it grows, so he's not lying, so it doesn't grow, so he's lying, so it grows, making him a non-liar, meaning it shouldn't grow, meaning I chop it off and say "To hell with this."

Obvious 'Fairly Odd Parents' reference is not obvious...

What?

I'm sorry, but just... what?

That was totally obvious!

If your going to be halfway intellectual about time travel dont consider the paradox consider the reality. Key issue number 1 primo. If you manage to build a machine that allows you to travel in time (In any fashion) how do you actually travel back to Earth? Given that were standing on a planet thats revolving .....

So you step through your timedoor & .... you hit vacumn well done spaceman.
Ever heard of relativity? According to relativity, the Earth isn't moving. Everything else is.

Of course he can, but he can simply move the planet the rock is on, or move the universe around it allowing him to still do anything to the pereception of non-omnipresent entities.
Oh, and moving the Universe around a rock is the same as moving the rock through the Universe.

Wow I cant beleive you said that out loud.

K relativity doesnt actually apply unless your misrepresenting frame dragging which is irrelevant also.

Example:-

At time index 01 Earth is at point A
At time index 10 Earth is at point B

Opening a gateway at point B to move back through time to index 01 would result in an opening at point B not point A. How does relativity apply there ? A is not B, B is not A.

As to the rock paradox reading is the key.

If God can do anything, then can he create a rock so heavy that he can't even lift it?

From an external observers viewpoint the rock is being lifted but is in fact immobile. Therefore the rock is being moved to an observer but is in fact immobile when viewed by God.
So the universe moving is not a factor of the principle observers measurement. Comprende. Man thinks rock moves, God knows better.
Wait, why is A not B? From the Earth's frame of reference, the Earth does not move, yah?

Only when I reach 40, I give it back to my 10 year old self. In escence, it creates itself. I think you're missing something from that. It goes in a loop forever and ever, in that when it reaches 40 (in it's current life, but that's something else) it is handed back to me when I am 10, and the cycle starts again.
Right & how is that a paradox. Its a teapot that exists between two points in time & space in an unusual order. instead of 1-50 it is -40 to 10 (or whatever) it doesnt affect the tea pot in any way.

Its not complex if you think its complex then god bless you but Calculus & Algebra will blow your tiny mind.

Additionally why would the universe mind ? The universal laws only complain when two objects exist at the same point in time & space & it sorts that out by mushing the two together.

If your going to be halfway intellectual about time travel dont consider the paradox consider the reality. Key issue number 1 primo. If you manage to build a machine that allows you to travel in time (In any fashion) how do you actually travel back to Earth? Given that were standing on a planet thats revolving .....
But where does the teapot come from? Your were given it by yourself, after giving it to yourself...

This sentence can't be described in under 10 words.

Think about THAT, suckers.

It's a paradox. There is no answer. Besides, time-travel is impossible.

But he's not actually lifting the rock, is he? Is he? To quote something you said earlier:

If the question was 'If God can do anything, then can he appear to create a rock so heavy that he can't even lift it?' But it wasn't, and your dickish answer became wrong.

Two people are in a race. One can run 8 yards in the time it takes the other to run 16. Now the former gets an 8 yard head start. The track is 1000 yards long, who would win?
