Random thought that popped into my mind 4 seconds ago!

What would be the perfect gaming experience?

As in, playing video games, but in a way that you feel perfect, you would never want to leave the moment.

For me...

I'd have to say playing Rock Band 2, suspended upside down by wires, in a mansion. And there's a party going on and everyone thinks I'm awesome. And there's a tanker of Pepsi on a table below me, so I can drink whilst I rock.

That'd be awesome.

For me personally it completely depends on the moment, as I play videogames for many different reasons - escape from reality, social interaction, curious about the story, feel good about my ability in completing something hard or just so muck about a bit while I'm waiting for something else.

I figure for every of these reasons there should be a perfect game (and some I've been playing for ever now come very close!)...

Playing a level on Hitman and striving for a Silent Assassin rank. For me it's, more rewarding than anything most any other games have. Because you actually feel like you've accomplished something...flawlessly.

inFamous controlled directly by my mind, with an infinitely long campaign, and a more ambiguous moral choice system.

Apart from the boss fights and the annoying platforming section in the sewers, Arkham Asylum is damned close.

Perfect gaming environment for the games I play would be a nice dark room, with a high quality monitor and a nice comfy executive chair :).
If I had a bit more money, then I'd make it a reality. But I've got a house to redecorate first.
