I was just sitting here wondering what is the perfect man and the perfect woman? If you were to write a list of five traits that they would have what would they be?

mine:

MAN:
1. Always intrested in what she has to say
2. dosent stop her going out with her friends (be they boy or girl)
3. never hurts her emotionally/physically
4. Sexy bum
5. is funny

Woman:
1. listens to him when he says "lemmie just complete this misson"
2. gives him lotsa girly love
3. dosent mother him
4. Lets him have boy nights
5. not to naggg

MAN: ..I really dont know how to answer this for myself, so!

WOMAN:

1. Is fine with gaming, and understands my addiction to anything Bioware.

2. Understands my trouble with deeper intimacy due to things in my life, but nonetheless will let her know what she wants/needs to know.

Not really the "perfect woman", but rather the ideal that would fit with my personality/interests/etc.

Perfection can only be reached in a state of imperfection.

What I mean is that if you get full marks on a test, that's a perfect score but you can never say that the test was perfect. In someones point of view (imperfect) someone can be perfect.

Likewise, and I agree. Besides, 'perfect' isn't POSSIBLE in the strictest sense of the word. All there is would be someone that fits well with someone else.

It's impossible to say the perfect man will never 'hurt' a woman or vice versus! People hurt each other, what makes the difference is learning how to work passed those hurts--learning how to cope with another human being.

I don't need a perfect man, I just want a good man.

1. He needs to be manly. I don't like girly-men and I don't like wimps.
2. He needs to be straight-forward. Nothing is more annoying than passive-aggressive bullshit.
3. He needs a healthy dose of common sense. You can be as clever as Einstein and still be a dumbass if you have no common sense.
4. He needs a sense of humor. Because if I poke fun at him and he starts whining, I might hit him with something.
5. He cannot be clingy. That is obnoxious. He needs to go out and be with his guy friends. And I need to go out and be with my own friends sometimes. I need a guy who has his own identity and does not cling to me to be his support and does not use me to define himself.
